Chapter 109-Luciano, Part Two

"Isn't it marvelous?"

Luciano smirks as he places both hands on his hips. The rest of us stare up at the GIANT mansion before Luciano, our mouths hanging ajar.

"I didn't even know houses this big EXISTED!" Khione yelps.

"Come, let us marvel at my spectacular home," Luciano says, then leads us inside.

Upon entering his mansion, we're greeted by a couple dozen maids lining the walls of the entrance hallway, who all boy to Luciano.

"WELCOME HOME, MASTER!" They all exclaim in unison.

"Thank you, thank you, my pretties," Luciano smirks as he points towards his maids.

The maids sequel.

"As you six are probably aware, thirteen days after the E-Chargers of the four original elements are reunited, the Elemental Apocalypse will truly begin once the Tomb of the Last is activated, which is where Prometheus is heading now," Luciano explains as he leads the gawking six of us through his mansion, "If we try and intercept now, we will lose. Therefore, we have seven days to train."

"There's just one thing I don't get," I ask as I raise a hand, "The legend says that once the four E-Chargers are reunited the Elemental Apocalypse will be PREVENTED. Not started?"

"Both are true. The Elemental Apocalypse can either be prevented or started at the Tomb of the Last. it all depends on the will of the user."

"So basically…we need to defeat Prometheus and activate the Tomb of the Star before he does?"

"Yes," Luciano enters as he pushes past a large pair of double doors, and the seven of us find ourselves standing in a HUGE field of bright green grass, as far as the eyes can see.

"Wow…" I marvel, "It's beautiful…"

"Now then?" Luciano smirks as he turns around to face us, "Shall we begin?"

"Um…" Mary asks as she sheepishly raises a hand, "What should we do?"

"Pardon?"

"Khione, Mary, and myself can't Infiniti Charge," Old-Man F explains, "What should we do while you four are training?"

"Tell me…have you three AWAKENED?" Luciano asks.

"I have," Old-Man F answers.

"Awakened?" Khione asks.

Luciano peers over at Khione. "Awakening is the peak that all E-Chargers can reach. Basically, when one TRULY understands their element unlike no other, they can tap into the compound elements that make up their element, and manipulate them, creating a whole new adjacent element. You can tell when an E-Charger has awakened, because their aura takes the form of an animal, their SPIRIT ANIMAL."

"Mine is a bull," Old-Man F chimes in, "By tapping into my Sand Charge, I created GLASS CHARGE."

"So…you want us to go AWAKEN?" Khione asks.

"Yes," Luciano nods as he peers over at Khione and Mary, "Since Water, Earth, and Wind aren't made up of other elements, they can't awaken, and neither can I, so I can't teach you. So…I want you two to go off on your own and do whatever it is that you need to do in order to awaken."

"I'm going to perfect my Glass Charge," Old-Man F adds.

Khione peers down at Mary. "Do you know what you're going to do, Mary?"

Mary sighs. "I can't even BEGIN to think what an awakening for my Blood Charge would look like…what about you?"

"Not sure, but I know my awakening will have something to do with the cold. So…I'm gonna go find somewhere cold to train. And also practice my Star Spells while I'm at it."

"So…I guess this is it, huh?" I ask as I wander over to my three comrades.

"Don't seem so glum," Old-Man F says, "We'll see you again in seven days."

"Yeah!" Khione exclaims, "And within these seven days we'll show you JUST how strong we are!"

"Right…" I smile back, "I'll see you guys later."

"Bye, Noah," Mary smiles, "And Ana, and Gaia."

"See you guys later!" Khione waves.

"Good luck," Old-Man F smirks.

"BYE, YOU GUYS!" Ana hollers.

"Bye," Gaia nods.

And so…Old-Man F, Khione, and Mary are escorted out of Luciano's mansion, leaving Ana, Gaia, and myself alone with the Light Charger.

"So-" Luciano begins to say as he claps his hands together, drawing our attention towards him, "What do you guys know about E-Charging?"

The three of us look around at one another awkwardly.

"Dai, dai," Luciano beckons.

"Um…" Ana begins to answer as she raises a hand, "That…E-Chargers CHARGE UP energy within their body to use spells…?"

"Very good," Luciano replies, "Next?"

"That E-Chargers use spells of varying strength depending on how high or low the number is," Gaia adds.

"Good. Next?"

"E-Chargers only have a few spells," I answer.

"Good," Luciano answers, "Now…I want you three to take EVERYTHING you know about E-Charging and THROW It out the window."

"Huh?"

"Infinity Charge is the culmination of using your full power in order to wield spells. As E-Chargers, we have a bad habit of suppressing our strength in combat. "Oh, I'm only using a level two spell, I don't need to use that much power," or "my level four spell should have X amount of power." Those are all bad habits. Forget them. To your FULL STRENGTH into your Infinity Charge. THAT'S how you fight. As E-Chargers…this is very difficult for us to do."

"Um…I see…"

"Now-" Luciano continues as he puts one hand on his hips and raises one hand in the air. Golden sparks of energy begin to swirl around his body, causing our eyes to widen.

"Are you going to-?" I begin to ask, but my question is answered when Luciano snaps his fingers, and all of a sudden, a GIANT EXPLOSION of golden energy sparks BURSTS from his body, so potent and so bright, that Ana, Gaia, and I flinch and leap backwards.

"SHIELD YOUR EYES, AMICI!" Luciano booms, "FOR THIS IS THE BRIGHT AND RADIATING POWER…OF THE ELEMENTO CARICA DI LUCE!"

"This strength…" I softly say to myself, as Luciano's bright golden-white light overtakes my vision completely, "This is the kind of strength I must obtain within seven days…"

Seven days. I have seven days to get strong enough to defeat Prometheus for good. Khione…Old-Man F…Mary…Ana…Gaia…Carbon…Luciano…Tungsten and the rest… EVERYONE is fighting as hard as we can to save the world.

To stop the Elemental Apocalypse.
