The Valkyrie
I woke up facing the blue sky.
"Did I won?" I mumbled . I get myself up slowly, and was relieved I am still in the labyrinth !
'I won !' I excitedly whispered.
But wait, I'm still inside...That means there is more to come ?! I was bothered by millions of questions, shaken by the fact that I barely won my first fight ! As if on cue , the walls suddenly opened a path in between.
'It is not over, the journey's yet to begin'
" Congratulations for successfully passing my test. To make things clear, I apologize for the sudden test we have given you. You're one of them, the nine people who were summoned by this labyrinth. You shall ascend to a higher title and responsibility , you're journey is about to start and the nine of you will be known as the challengers. Your mission is to contest the guardians for the keys of the visser gates. I advise you to move your stuffs into Skypia, the city of the clouds where archmaguses , prodigies and cancellers rest. I'll give you the next instructions there. Rise my children !"
Afer the sudden telepathic messaf of the Prime Arcañan has finished, I found myself standing in a narrow column facing the other challengers, which I failed to recognize due to my hazy vision.
The whole place darkened and I started looking back on what just happened
"Challengers? Challenge against the guaradians? I'll be one of them ?!" I muttered to myself.

"Hey ! Dmitri ! Wake up !"
"Huh? Kleins? What ? A dream?" I get up and sat next to him
"What do you mean? Having nightmares eh? " kleins teased me
"Duh~ nightmares in the early afternoon? Man you're slacking off !" Jack interupted
"Haha ! I never imagined that you will sleep while we were having trouble in concentration class !" Kleins added
"Wait what? What about the labyrinth? Th..the test? " I have no idea what is really happening. Was it all just me dreaming?
"Haha ! The hell are you talking about? We were busy memorizing the concentration stance while you where so fine sleeping in your bed! That's all of your "what" today!" Jack explained gesturing with his hands to emphasis.
"Hey jack, we'll be late for our next class . Dmitri's schedule is different from ours. We can't slack off like him. Hahahaha!" Then waved and left. I was so startled and puzzled. It all seemed real, I swear! But ..... Ugh~ How come ... No! Nevermind. I grabbed my staleheart book and tried to focus on reading to forget what I believe happened.

It wast almost midnight when I woke up. I fell asleep reading, I get up to grab some food and water. I was eating when i heard something from the balcony.
"PSSSSST !!!! Hey! Pssst"
A female voice was calling my name. I headed towards the sound and oppened the balcony entrance . There, I saw her, someone who looked looked familiar.
"Hey what the hell are you doing !" She whispered to me.
"I'm sorry but what am I supposed to do?" I was puzzled by her ! What is she talking about?
"For goodness sake ! How could you be one of us ?! You were supposed to remember everything that has transpired ! How come you don't know a thing?! We need to be going by now to Skypia. You're the reason why we are behind schedule !" Whoa~ she's gone hysterical. But now she's making sense.
"Sky....Skypia?! Wait . I thought it was just a dream ! I asked my roommates about it but they said they don't know a thing !"
"You fool ! Of course the Prime Arcañan erased their memories! The fact that we were to fight the guardians to get the keys to the visser gates will scare everybody, not to mention spies from radii and other worlds may leak this info and treathen our families. Did you really passed the labyrinth?" I couldn't believe her, she takes these way too easily.
"I....ugh~ what is this?"
I fell into the ground unconscious , I don't know how and why. The next thing I know is ....

I am Trixilinea Asher, but my friends call me trixie. I am one of the few remaining Valkyries of Attica. Valkyries are maguses that use Lunar Arcana. Only a true valkyrie can use lunar arcana, we also use moonlight as enchantment to power up our weapons, valkyrian weapons are forged from moonsilver which we acquire through rituals and we are free to choose what weapons we will use. In my case, I have this two mini-scytes.
I found the true purpose of my life after passing the Grand labyrinth.
I was off for my Weapon Mastery class that day when the Sound Council's Global Ping or yellowstars announced something.
"Classes for today will all be suspended, All students are required to go to the Shifting Labyrinth .This is not a request, I repeat this is not a request"
"The grand laby.....whoa~" I was interrupted, as I was teleported in the front , of what I was about to say. Geez ! I know that the grand labyrinth is only openned during special events, but this time , none was announced. Puzzled as everyone else, I stormed inside the maze and drew out my scytes. This will be exciting ! If you don't know , valkyries are people of pride and honor. We enjoy fighting , it was like a drag for us,bloodlust, once we get started , we tend to grow stronger and crave for more.
Then it started as I reached a dead end. A nature koro appeared ! This will be quite easy for me ! Nature koro's are weak but durable monsters , they have very high health points but very slow movement and weak attacks. The time was early , giving me no advantage. I'll tell you, a valkyrie fighting under moonlight will absolutely astonish you. *grins* .
I leaped into it and swinged my scytes . BLOOD ! yeah ! I attacked the monster randomly faster and faster until it drop dead. Phew ! This creature is boring . The moment the koro was already swimming in blood with deep bruises , the dead end broke into two separate ways - left and right. Whatever. I don't care who to meet nor where to fight. I am starting to go berserk ! I want to fight ! I can't recall which way I went. All I know is that I bumped onto something - an S class Galio. Galios are ancient gargoyles that had was reformed by the power of darkness. Galio's are very strong koros not to mention this one is from the S rank.
"DIEEEE !!!" I yelled then launch myself into him. He was fast and avoided my first swing , but was hit by the second. I repeatedly attacked him but he turned himself into a stone statue. The moment I stopped attacking, he retured himself into his vulnerable form with an explosion that sent me flying.
"What...the...he...." I landed hard on the labyrinth wall and fell to the ground. I was completely down and my vision started to fade. "I c....ca....can't...lose!"
