1 1. When Times Collide

The wind is howling, like it's calling her. What it hears is the summing of the fridge in its small one person room. Just the summing, still nothing else. The curtains closing up the window, but the sound, the silent howling sound, this dripping sound. It wonders "Is it raining? No that doesn't work either" and she turns herself around in her sheets. For five hours it tried to fall asleep, but it endet up awake past its sleeping time, way past its sleeping time. For six hours it tried to sleep, but still "My body still doesn't allow it" it said out in dissapointment. Turning off her phone screens light.

She sits up from the corner of her bed going towards the covered window, the window that's calling her. The sound of the curtains pushing added to the silence of the room, oh what a lovely sound. No it did not rain. The ground covered in white, while the snowflakes looked like flying magic dust under the street-lantern down there. No it was not rain, how long has it been, since she saw so much snow the last time?

She opens up the window feeling the fresh breeze of the wind swirling up the tips of her hair, this fresh air.

Leaning on the windows sims she lifts up her head. Infront, the parks trees. But usually you'd also see the tall builings in the back lighting up. But absolute darkness, the fog is too thick and everyone sleeps. Not even a pinch of light. Just the street lights and the car lights, but mostly blue lights, this time, these blue lights. In half an hour it should get bright. Down there a poor man showeling the snow from his car, his body crunched "'I'm kind of glad, that I don't own a car now' it thought tilting its head and watching his struggles till the car drives away.

Now it shrugs slightly surprised by the first lights turning on. The living are waking. And the first human made sounds are appearing. The best of the best are waking up, the real humans.

It's going into the kitchen and taking a can of coffee pouring into his cup.

Leaning on the door sims it peeked out of the window.

It's now best for the night owl to go back to its nest. As it turned it's head the early bird sees the night owl and the night owl sees the early bird, their eyes collide.
