"I am sorry. I am okay now." Nesta said, hugging Tessa.

"It's fine as long as you are ok. Let's hurry back before our dear Lord Bramford comes looking in the ladies bathroom for both of us." Tessa said, both of them chuckling as they made their way back to the ballroom.

Nesta heaved a sigh of relief, her face regaining colour, happy that she was able to convince Tessa this time.

Nesta and Tessa were all smiles as they walked back to the ballroom, heading for the big serving table to get a drink and probably eat a dessert.

The two women were having a conversation and laughing when Lord Clifford decided to try his luck and ask Nesta for a dance.

"Lord Clifford is making his way here. I am sure he is coming to ask you for a dance." Tessa whispered in Nesta's ears who had her back to their impending visitor.
