Shameless author review, here. Hello, everybody. Thanks for giving my book, 'The Dungeon Master System', a chance, even if you're just looking at the home page of the novel itself. As of the time of writing this, I only have two chapters published, so I want to leave this message here to further add to the synopsis above. I originally created this story with the anime 'Overlord' in mind. The MC of this story, Aureys, is a dragon, so he's not exactly going to be accepted by the human civilization around him. Along with Aros and a few other subordinates, Aureys will do his best to accomplish his goals and make an impact on the world around him. He'll gain friends and enemies, as well as face trials that only one of his position can face. Whether he attempts to take over the world, or whether he decides to spend his days in his dungeon, I hope you enjoy this book! PS: The cover above was completed in like 5 minutes. I'm a bit shocked that this doesn't have more reviews. Personally, I loved it, even though it's only just starting out. The only thing I regret is that the world-building is only just getting started, but the synopsis tells me it's going to be really interesting. Very much looking forward to the next update
Honestly quite surprised about the number of reviews given the writing quality of this novel. Though I am only 10 chapters deep, the early game development was enough to commit further into the book. I'm impressed with the characters introduced thus far, as it also gave some insight how to monsters work. Good start author, looking forward to your future chapters and hopefully success. Though I am biased I do love a good dungeon master novel.
This book is great. It can feel slow at times especially when adventuring and I’d love to see Auryes to gain a bunch of DP in one interaction to hasten his dungeon expamsion goals as well as potentially dungeon “classes” with capital at the top with 100 floors and lower and lower dungeons having less floors with 5 being the minimum. I’d also love to see if DP transfers between dungeons or if it is stored in the core rather than as a curency that follows him around.
