The Dungeon Master of Lust

Gina was a fairly ordinary person, no goals, no life, no sex life. On her thirty-fifth birthday she decided that enough was enough and went into the dating scene again to find someone to love. The only issue was that her best date sacrificed her in a demonic ritual leaving her as just a ghost, or so she thought. Author's note: I plan to update this twice a week, usually on Friday and Saturday if I can, but if I have a nice bit of inspiration, I might do an extra chapter on Sunday. Besides that, I'm not fully sure what the story will fully be about so expect the tags to change as the story progresses to properly show what is currently happening rather than what I originally planned.

Deciding

Quinn and Gina quietly but excitedly whispered back and forth to each other, "It's finally time!"

Gina almost immediately went into different ideas she had been dreaming of, "We could have a haunted manor full of ghostly beauties and sexy armor sets. Oh, or we could go with Elven lasses in the forest. Maybe we could even go with an underwater area full of mermaids!"

"Woah woah, slow down there." Quinn stopped Gina's flurry, "We can decide what we want to put in the floors later, first you need your design down."

"My design?" She asked the fairy.

"Yes your design, your theme, what makes your dungeon well yours." Quinn told her, "You could go with the classics, old ruins and caves filled with traps and monsters defending our loot, or you could go with something more original, have you thought of anything yet?"

Gina was quiet for a moment, she had been thinking of what she wanted her Dungeon to be, but she hadn't been set on anything yet. She was constantly going back and forth on what she wanted it to be, an exclusive haven of beauties for her to enjoy, a sexual resort for all to come to, or just the usual fantasy dungeon with her own harem of beauties.

There was a lot for her to decide on, but there was one idea that kept constantly coming back to her, so she started to explain it to Quinn, "Well, I know my world likely isn't as… open or accepting of our desires as others."

Quinn cut in, "Definitely, you've got some areas filled with absolute prudes."

Giving her a quick glance to get her to be quiet Gina continued, "I think that it would be best to split the floors into unique areas right at the start and have them join back together at the stairwell. Some paths for your different sexual partners, others for the usual dungeon experience, splitting it up by its difficulty so people can try only with what they're comfortable with, with lower rewards for the lower difficulties of course."

Quinn was quiet for almost a minute, making Gina think she hated her idea, but that thought was quickly thrown out when the doctor spoke, "ITS-" Quinn shouted out only to remember Heather and quickly cover her mouth, "It's brilliant, many of the other lust dungeons I've been to have been nothing but sex, and while it's a bit fun, there's no reason to go to them unless you're just craving for that itch to get scratched. By splitting it up you can get that itch scratched but enjoy the usual dungeon adventuring as well."

"Really?" Gina doubted the doctor, wondering if she was only saying that to not hurt her feelings.

"Yes! I've been to dozens of different lust dungeons for my vacations, but all of them just forced you down that sexual route. Sure it was fun and enjoyable to go into it when it's some race you enjoy, but you'd eventually find yourself stuck with one you absolutely despise without having experienced the whole dungeon. Trust me, so many of my vacations have been ruined when the first floor contained nothing but Zombies or Arachnids." The doctor visually shuddered at that last word.

Gina imagined it, going for a nice relaxing vacation expecting constant sex, only for some rotted dick to be what greeted her, the image made her gag, "So, now that I've selected my design what do we do next?"

Quinn thought for a moment on the question, "We'll have to start discussing your 2nd floor theme then, so get out the shop we'll have to look over everything!"

The idea of setting her first theme excited Gina, but it quickly became crushing. Here the original three ideas were all immediately thrown out due to their layout cost.

Gina had originally thought reshaping her dungeon would be simple and easy, just think of what she wanted it to look like and bomb it would be so, but it was far more complicated.

The layout was the first issue, checking through her Dungeon Management skill on Quinn's orders she found a new section for all the unique layouts she could make her floors look like, and the list was abysmal to say the least.

[ Dungeon Layouts:

 Types-

Natural: <Dirt Cavern>

Buildings: <Apartment Complex>

According to Quinn each dungeon would start with the layout of their original area, in this case the apartment complex, while most commonly unlocking the dirt cavern as their second layout. To unlock more, you could either unlock it by expanding your dungeon, earn it through achievements, build it yourself and have it recognized by the system, or purchase the layout from the shop.

For her basic forest it would cost her 6000 DP for the layout, the haunted manor was 28 thousand DP, and her underwater mermaid paradise would be over 100 thousand DP, shattering her dreams of any of those choices in the near future.

Searching her best, the cheapest ones she could find were basic stone caverns, the cheapest at 50 DP only contained stone. While the further along she went through the stone caverns the better they became, if she used 400 of her DP she could have the <Mining Caves> layout, which would randomly spawn basic metals and minerals inside of the layout, spawning back periodically.

They were both disappointed at their lack of funds, but quickly Quinn ordered Gina to move on, "We may not be able to afford a good layout just yet, but we'll get there eventually, just switch to the races for now."

With the doctor's orders Gina began browsing through the different races offered by the shop. There were an uncountable number of them, just from humans alone she found <Common Human>, <Mana Human>, <Elemental Human>, <High Human> all with their own unique subsets as well.

Even with the exceedingly wide variety of races to choose from it was still challenging to find ones that worked. Many of them were too pricey for her to afford, only being distant stars when faced with the emptiness of her wallet.

Others need specific areas to survive in, immediately disqualifying them, almost all of the higher races she saw needed mana filled layouts in order to function properly, while others just needed certain environments.

The two of them spent hours going back and forth about what race they should purchase, from beast-kin races, basic pixies and fairies to the more imaginative wooden automatons, but instead of settling on something the two of them merely broke out into arguments about what they needed and wanted, both of them getting nowhere.

After hours of arguing Heather finally woke up, letting out a loud but relaxed yawn after sitting up, the nap having clearly done wonders for her. Walking over to the table she was greeted not by words, but by the look of disappointment and anger across the others faces.

"Heather, you have to back me up!" Quinn told her, "We need to have Orcs for a stronger fighting force against the outside."

Gina butted in, "Quinn we've been over this, Orcs are too expensive, we'd only be able to create one with our current DP, what will that even be able to do? We need to go with the Brownies, they'll be able to spy on the government easily."

"And what will they do in a fight when they're barely three inches high, we need soldiers now, not scouts." Quinn shouted back at her.

The two of them went back and forth forgetting about Heather in their argument until she interrupted the both of them, "Both of you are wrong, what we need now are miners."

The two of them looked towards her in sync and asked, "Miners?"

"Yes, miners. We're very short on DP right now, barely enough for a single race let alone actually expanding the dungeon enough to work, but if we get a race that excels in mining we'll be able to manually dig out our dungeon." Heather explained to the two of them, "I've been looking into this for a while, we'll want to start with either Dwarves, Gnomes, Mole-Kin, or Badger-Kin."

Gina pulled up each of the races in the shop, the cheapest forms of each of these were all within Gina's price range, being between 300 and 400 DP, "Are you sure this is what we need now?"

Heather shut the both of them down, "Yes it is, we are barely getting any DP as we are now, this room alone cost you 50 DP, we can't even remake that maze you got from the trap with our current DP, now which one should we go for?"

Quinn was sulking in the corner disappointed that she had been overruled by Heather, so it was up to Gina to make the choice.

Browsing through the options, each of them were unique compared to the others, besides mining each of the races had their own strengths as well. Dwarves were highly likely to be talented in forging and smithing, the Gnomes were more suited towards enchanting and jeweling, while the Mole-kin and Badger-kin both had improved senses of smell, although the Mole-kin had terrible eyesight while the Badger-kin had better eyesight.

With their current resources none of their skills besides mining really mattered to Gina, but she was leaning towards the Gnomes the most, as Heather had told her most technology would become useless in two years' time, but with the Gnomes maybe she could get a head start at reshaping the world's tech, "We'll go with Gnomes."

"Excellent!" Heather told her, "But don't use all your DP in creating the Gnomes, you'll need to buy some tools, food, and clothing."

Taking Heather's advice Gina unlocked the Gnomes, using 350 of her DP on them, she only purchased three of them with the leftover seventy DP going for cheap pickaxes, shovels, and some basic miner outfits.

All three of them watched in marvel as their first race spawned in, blinding the three of them as a brilliant light washed through the room.

Edited the chapter to be a full length.

Besides that have a Happy New Year.
