“The Meeting”

It was a peaceful and warm spring day in a mythical land of animal and human hybrids. The leader and ruler of the land of Beclala was The Duke. His name was Dean Astrar Spines the second. He was known as the most deadliest warrior and fearless leader in all the land. He wore a black suit with a black tie that was tucked into his white polo shirt. He had raven black hair that was curly but mostly slicked backed. His cape was dark red inside but the back was black. He was a wolf creature with sharp claws and fangs. His eyes were a very dark brown. His crown was a pastel yellow that goes around his head. It had a red ruby gem on the front of it that shined like the sun. He was sitting in his throne room when his butler came in to give him his news.

"Mister, Duke, I have news for you" the butler said. His butler was a majestic cat like creature with sharp canine teeth. His eyes were dark marble blue. He wore a grey suit with a black polo shirt. He had blonde short spiky hair. He had a serious and straight face. "What news to do you have for me, Apire?" Asked The Duke. "It seems that your maid has quit and left without a note or trace of her whereabouts." Said Apire. "RAWW!! How is this to be?!" Yelled The Duke. " She said that you were "unfair" and " not very trustworthy" that you were a terrible person to rule this land" quoted Apire. " *Sigh* You know what. I don't care anymore. I have more duties to attend to. So, I'm trusting you to find a new and good maid for me. Can you do that for me, please?" Requested The Duke. Apire had a sense of pride in his face. A slight smile appeared on his face. He bowed down and simply said " Of course, sir, I will find an excellent maid for your needs. I will not let you down, sir." "Good, now I am off, go along, Apire" said The Duke as he walked out of the throne room to do his duties. Apire was now filled with determination to find the perfect maid for his leader. He still was questioning why the last maid quit and said he was a bad leader. In Apire's opinion, The Duke may come off as strong and silent but he was very fair and reliable. But that didn't matter, now was the time to find the perfect maid.

Apire went from village to village to find the perfect maid for The Duke, but, he was not successful. Then, while he was on his way back to the palace. He spotted a cottage in the forest. He became intrigued by it. Aspire left his horse carriage and went up to the cottage. He knocked on the door. A female Timberwolf with glasses, black hair with a piece of blue in it, wearing black khakis and a white polo shirt. Her eyes were a very dark brown. She had a short but very fluffy tail. She was about 5'4 from the look of her and she was kinda thicc."Hello, sir, do need any assistance?" She spoke. "I was hoping to find a maid for my Duke but I have not been very successful. But unless, you would like to take that position. If that is fine by you?"said Aspire. Her face turned from confused to interested. " Wait. I'm not sure. Who will take care of my family?"She asked. " Do not fret on that miss. I will have guards watch over your loved one's while you are gone. You will also be able to vist them. But we need to leave quickly if you have made your decision."Said Aspire reassuringly. She stood there for a moment before making her decision. " Alright. I will do it. Can I at least tell my family and say goodbye."Asked the girl.

"Absolutely, Ms.... Um.. Sorry, I didn't get your name." She chuckles a bit. "You may call me Evie but some just call me Eve." She said. "Okay then, Miss.Evie. Let's get going then." Said Aspire. Evie then told her family of the news. They would miss her dearly but was proud and happy for her. She grabbed some clothes and went to the carriage and left to the palace. The Duke was sitting in his throne room to collect his thoughts. Then Aspire walked in. "Sire, I have found a perfect maid for you. Her name is Evie.She is very qualified to assist to your desires." Said Aspire. " Let me get a look at her, if you don't mind." The Duke said. "Of course, sire."Said Aspire as he brought in Evie. The Duke took one look at her and their eyes meet. This sense of hope and sweet happiness feeling filled in The Duke. His eyes kinda lit up with passion. Aspire noticed this but didn't understand it yet. The Duke came down from his throne to she her face closer. When The Duke came up to Evie, she looked at him and gave him a sweet smile. She had a small gap between her two front teeth. The Duke thought she looked very cute and blushed a bit but shook it off. " I- I think you will be perfect for the position, Miss.Evie" Said The Duke with a smile. Aspire has never seen The Duke smile with such interest. He looked at Evie then back at The Duke. Then it hits him. Then he looks at The Duke with a sneaky smirk. "Oh ho ho~ Now I know for sure she is perfect. This is going to be very interesting and fun." Thought Aspire.
