Sheep In Wolf's Clothing

Anna’s face had turned white, she was so bewildered that she didn’t know how to react. If the man in front of her really was who she thought him to be, then it would all be over!

She asked in a small panicked voice, “A-Azrael?”

His gaze was cold as ice, but a ruthless light lingered deep within, like a beast catching sight of its prey. A devilish smile curled on his lips.

“Indeed.”

“Y-Your Grace!” she quickly corrected herself, “Shit, I am so sorry!”

Ivan glanced at her and even his indifferent gaze carried hints of worry as he calmly cautioned her.

“Miss Anna.”

Anna’s eyes widened, “Oh damn…”

She quickly clasped both hands above her mouth. The heavens must have cursed her tongue. Not only did she offend the fearsome duke out of her ignorance, but she also accidentally broke the formal etiquette with him; not once nor twice, but three times!
