"Duchess. Would you like me to hold him?" Sally asked, looking down at Alessandra sitting on a blanket. 

"It is fine," Alessandra answered, smiling as Elijah kept nibbling away at her hand. "I came outside for him to have a bit of fresh air and to play with him. I can handle him on my own, and it won't be long before Edgar comes home. Have they finished unpacking?" Alessandra asked.

It had not been long since she and Edgar had returned to their home in Lockwood. Alessandra started to see it as their second home since they spent more time living in a home Edgar purchased that was located just on the edge of Lockwood, where they did not have to deal with the usual crowd.

Other times, they travelled to other towns and stayed in the homes Edgar owned, or Edgar paid for them to stay in others.
