1 THE DARK OFFICE

The sun bent down on her pale skin it was 10 in the morning and her alarm clock rattled at the same time but she was in a deep sleep that the rattling of the alarm didn't affected her however it was now 2 pm she heard someone running which awakened her.She was extremely astonished not knowing who was the person running in the house as his son was 20 years old and he never ran inside the house so she decided to leave her bed and rushed towards his son's room where she heard some wheezes and gasps of his son which made her inquisitive about what happen.

She knocked the door and as she knocked his son yelled "go away.... i am so done with you...i am tired of this life.....this poverty".Her mother was stunned by what his son said and tears started rolling down from her eyes and she went back to her room she washed her face,grabbed the keys of her old Vespa and left the house immediately.She was driving aimlessly around the streets of Italy but suddenly she took a turn and made her way towards her office...there were multiple thoughts going on in her mind she was quiet and tensed she was so busy in her thoughts that she didn't even heard her ringing phone.

By the time she reached her office which was abandoned now 2 years before, she was the CEO of that company and a director too but because of a great loss, the company went in to debts and was never able to recover.As she opened the door of her office several memories flashed into her eyes it was now 7 pm in the evening and it was very dark in that area because of no electricity she turned on the flashlight of her phone and saw a picture of her with her son covered in dust and spider webs which reminded her of the drastic words which her son yelled.She bursted into tears realising that she is so helpless right now and can't do anything without her husband who died when his son was 2 years old.she was having a panic attack as she was not able to breath and crying very loud... suddenly her mobile was also dead because of no battery and heard someone's footsteps coming towards her office but only thing she could see was the shadow of a gun.
