76 Central Park Massacre I

The grove of elm trees was silent and eerie, only the occasional rustling of leaves blown in the wind and the hooting of owls could be heard. The wide walkway that went through the center of this forest only had a few people walking by.

Usually, The Mall was one of the more famous spots in Central Park, but since today was the night of Halloween, the iconic park was a little desolate. After all, most New Yorkers had gathered for the Halloween parade at Times Square.

But soon enough, a large group of people armed to the teeth entered the dark grove. They walked toward the small crater that had only recently been formed upon Morpheus' landing. A few people observed the crater for a few moments and then instructed the rest of the people to fan out and search the surroundings.

As the people entered the grove, Morpheus' lips curled up into a cruel smirk. That last sniper shot had really infuriated him and now he was going to savagely murder anyone that attacked him.
