55 The Sakura Bushido Opening

"Have you read the terms and conditions to join this Dojo?"

"These requirements are insane; how do they plan to find members if the requirements are so stringent?"

A boy with glasses approached and said, "Don't panic. If you can't handle something like that, you should prepare yourself before even attempting to join this Dojo. It would save you a lot of trouble since those who don't meet these requirements are probably not fit to learn Karate."

The boy in the yellow hoodie was named Victor; his curious gaze was questionable as he was only here to assess the facilities and the internet speed.

By the time the young people had arrived, they were all led to the open space where each began gathering in groups and inspecting the large facilities of this place.

"The price is very high, but knowing that it decreases after a few months of continued study, my mother immediately sent me here. However, the monthly subscription prices are still insane." Said a boy while looking at the two trophies on a shelf, trophies won by the only two students of this Dojo.

"Does anyone have replays of the fights? I'm still amazed when I think about how the guy named Dash smashed Silva's head even when he was the one who attacked first unexpectedly."

"Yes, I think I have a copy."

"All right, everyone, gather!" A loud voice came from the other end of the large room, and an older man came out in a Karate uniform. He stood in front of everyone and surveyed the surroundings.

"Is that the Sensei of this Dojo?"

"Yes, that's Mr. Kim that everyone is talking about..."

"Is he single? My mother sent me here to find out. Maybe he'll become my next father..."

Mr. Kim, who had good hearing, frowned upon hearing such wishful comments and muttered, "A bunch of monkeys... For the love of God, none of them will pass the tests Dash proposed initially."

It was obvious that the requirements were high. Before money, one had to be in good physical condition to save months of training and prevent people of all ages who didn't meet these training routines from wasting their money and quitting after a week.

For those who accepted, they were given a training routine to build the minimum condition to start learning Karate, and for those who wanted more in-depth classes, there was Kung Fu.

"All right, gather in a circle, and before you decide to join us, you must learn some necessary things that will be taught in this place."

For now, Mr. Kim started by explaining the goal of this Dojo and what everyone would learn in this place.

"Listen carefully!" Mr. Kim, who ended up here as a mentor for kids wanting to learn martial arts, said, "First, we will not only teach you to fight in Sakura Bushido, but we also instill discipline."

"Everyone is here because of the rumors about the two winners from a month ago, but not everyone is aware of the sacrifice behind reaching that level." Mr. Kim had seen Dash and Devon's dedication, so he reminded everyone interested in joining: "You will learn about responsibility, respect, unity, and how far you are willing to go to gain power."

"Everyone is welcome to this Dojo, but remember there is a set of exercises you must complete for a month before deciding to join this place. For those with no doubt, then fine, sign up and bring your parents' authorization by tomorrow."

After everyone relaxed, they listened attentively to the Sensei of this place and nodded. Many of them were in poor physical condition, so before learning kicks and such, they would have to build a foundation.

When their body's foundation is ready, everyone could learn martial arts. Many who were here left but not without taking a copy of the exercise routine, and after a month, if they could survive that exercise, they would show up here to learn.

Among all those who left, fourteen boys aged ten to fifteen stayed, and they were all confident in their ability to easily perform the exercise written on the sheet.

Some were not sure, but they had enough money to stay here for months and train under the supervision of the Dojo's Sensei.

"All right, it seems everyone has made a decision, so I'm glad!" Mr. Kim said, looking at these brave kids willing to give it a try.

"First and foremost, we'll focus on your flexibility, agility, and, if possible, endurance. Everyone in formation, side by side, and separate according to the mats laid out."

"I have a question!" said the boy in the yellow hoodie, raising his hand.

"Go ahead!"

"What do you teach here?"

"Kung Fu!" Mr. Kim said as the people around filled with surprise.
