Chapter 26: Return and Unexpected News

They said their goodbyes and went back to Katolis.

A week later they arrived at the castle. They unpacked their things and went towards the throne room. There they saw Opeli, Barius and the crow lords assistant.

"Hello everyone. Did anything happen while we were gone?"

Opeli, Barius and the crow lords assistant bowed towards king Ezran. "Well my king we did get some worry some news, but you need to see this." Opeli handed three paper scrolls to king Ezran.

While reading the scrolls Opeli asked how we were doing. "Hello prince Callum, how was it at the moon nexus?"

"It was great. I learned the moon arcanum and Lujanne will open the moon nexus for humans and xadia again."

They talked they heard king Ezran exclaim in shock. Callum then asked "Ezran what is wrong?"

"Ah sorry." Ezran then begand the first scroll. "Because of the recent threat of the the kingdom of Neolandia with king Ahling gathering forces we would like to increase our relationship with you're kingdom king Ezran. To do that we would like to betroth queen Aanya of Duren to prince Callum of Katolis."

Callum had a brain error for a moment and then replied in a shocked voice."What why would they want to marry queen Aanya to me? Shouldn't they choose king Ezran instead of me."

Opeli then answered before king Ezran could reply "No prince Callum, king Ezran can't marry queen Aanya because she and king Ezran have their responsibilities towards their respective kingdoms."

Callum sighed "Ofcourse that is true. King Ezran what are the other scrolls about?"

King Ezran looked at side holding his laugh, but anwered Callum. "You have similar proposals from the other human kingdoms Callum and they want to marry you to their daughter."

Callum began to have a weird look. "Is this because of the recent things i did." "That is probably the case prince Callum."

Callum gave an even deeper sigh. "Decline every proposal except the one from the kingdom of Duren. They are our ally and we should use tact to answer."

With that they ended their discussion. Callum went towards the high mage courters. He opened door, unpacked his stuff and went to sleep.

(P.O.V. Queen Aanya)

In my chambers a was squealing with excitement. My ministers and advisers said because of the rising threat of Neolandia that it would be wise to increase the allegiance we had with Katolis.

After some discussion one of the ministers said this. "My queen if a may speak i would like to make a proposal."

"Proceed minister Hydan(Star Wars Rebels)"

"We know prince Callum change and intellect will make even more things that would increase our prosperity and our safety to the rising threat of Neolandia, so that is why i propose that we arrange a marriage with prince Callum of Katolis and you my queen."

I went silent with this. The ministers and advisers voices and discussion were filtered out. She met prince Callum last time she was in Katolis. He was very intelligent, kind, tall, had beautiful emerald eyes and extremely handsome.

She blushed at the proposal to marry prince Callum.

"Queen Aanya?"

"Mmm what? Sorry i zoned out for a bit. You were saying minister Hyden."

"Most of us agree that this mariage would be great for both countries, but it's you're decision my queen."

After a minute a gave them my answer. "I agree with the proposal minister Hyden. Sent a message to Katolis about our proposal."

With that the meeting ended and i went back towards my chambers. I jumped on my bed and imagined myself in a white dress with prince Callum in very beautiful robe.

I imagined more scenarios with prince Callum and then fell asleep.

So first of all for people who find it weird to have queen Aanya have a crush on Callum i will tell them this. For boys and girls around that age they get older crushes/love interests. For myself when i was that age i had a major on Padme Amidala from star wars.

Second of all is season 5. It was much better than season 4, but it had a few flaws. I will tell them later.

[1] Viren had a major character development with that he even give up dark magic and his life to stop continuing the horrors he did before. He even didn't kill sir Sparklepuff.

[2] Aaravos is maybe an black hole like i did in my earlier chapters. If it's not the case in season 6 i will change it.

[3] Liked the animation. It looked much better than season 4.

[4] Terry may break up with Claudia in season 6 because i think he is beginning to notice the changes in Claudia.

[5] Liked the rayllum moments, but still think it's weird they didn't have a heated discussion about what happened between them. In my story it will be a heated discussion.

[6] Kareem will team up with Sol Regem so the mission that was stated on his quest board will be changed later in the story.

[7] The ocean arcanume will Callum learn earlier than season 5 in my story.

Now the flaws i noticed.

[1] Ezran steals little glowtoads. Don't get me wrong i find them very cute, but if the species isn't endangered i don't get why he would steal them, because we heard that the guards from Katolis and Lux Auria eat sausage and have leather saddles so they eat animals in that world. People on earth eat also toads so i don't get the problem and i know bait isn't food but a pet, but people also on earth have toads as pet and eat those toads in another part of the world.

[2] Kareem hates dark magic and humans, but asks help from the blood moon huntress to steal the sun sead. Viren did bad things with dark magic, but did also some good. For example to make the land fertile. The blood moon huntress literally just only kills. She is even worse.

[3] Didn't like that Rayla went behind Callums back after they just made up to steal his keys and to get into Virens dungeon. She should have told him after what happened between them.

[4] To litte Aaravos. The arc of season 4, 5, 6 is called the mysterie of Aaravos, but we got extremely little information.

[5] Hoped for flashbacks about Rayla, Claudia and Callum like in arrow season 1 to 5.

So the third thing is this. I wanted to have a final quest about Neolandia with king Ahling demise and then a major time skip where some quest happened, improvements, that he made the invokers tower on that mountain and got full mastery of the Dooku and Tai Lung template. Also that he gotten the last part for the invokers template and has at 5%. The reason is that i think it will take to long to go to season for if i increase the chapters until season 4 even more. So beneath here you van vote.
