"Father, it seems that the Eternal Fleet is slowly moving towards Earth, they will arrive at the planet's surface in 72 Earth hours." explained Corvus Glaive, a member of the Black Order

"Good, and the Kree?" responded a purple alien named Thanos, popularly known as the Mad Titan

"As expected, they are going to attack the Chimera, Ronan is leading the troops. However I think it is unlikely the Accuser will defeat the Chiss. Ronan is a good commander, I have to admit. But he is no Thrawn" another member of the Black Order, Ebony Maw responded

"Has there been any response from Asgard?" Thanos asked 'his children'

"Only some communication to Zakuul father, but from what I heard, The Dragon refuses to pull back his army as he considered the agreement about the Tesseract to be null and void as Asgard proved that they cannot uphold their promise. The All-Father is furious but without the Bifrost, ther is nothing that they can do" Maw replied while reading a holographic report from one of their spies

"Ever since that war Odin has been a fool. Imprisoning his most powerful weapon and disregarding the rest of the Nine Realms. Keep the reports coming Maw, I want to know if Asgard mobilised. We need as many allies as possible if we want to bring down the Dragon" Thanos commanded

A voice than ask Thanos "Why father? Why should we fear the Dragon? for hundreds of years the Dragon has been in quiet contentment and hasn't done anything. Emperor Thexan should have gone weaker then?" Gamora, one of his 'daughter' questioned her 'father'

"Unfortunately my daughter, unlike Odin, Thexan has never lost his mind, instead if I know him, and I do know him, even in peace he has never been truly calm. Instead ever since the last war they had, the Empire has become much, much stronger thatn the last time I saaw them in action. You, your sister, and the Black Order are the only one that can stand againts their Knights.

Should you meet Thexan, Thrawn, or even Revan, I only have one command. Retreat and live to fight another day. Even with all of my power, defeating the Dragon of Zakuul is virtually impossible. Only with the power of the Infinity Stones can challenge the Dragon." Thanos replied through gritted teeth, showing his unhappiness at the fact that the Dragon of Zakuul, the Eternal Emperor is far stronger than him.

"What shall we do now father? If the reports are correct than the Eternal Fleet is streched as they will be preparing to fight on 2 fronts, 3 if we join." asked his other 'daughter', Nebula

"To collect the Infinity Stones, we need a container. There are only two items that can wield all of the Stones together. The first option is that we must take the First Gauntlet, or the Gauntlet of the Tribunal from a planet in the Imperial Space." Thanos said while showing a star system and focusing on a rather green and blue planet but with several light disks shown on the surface of the planet, signalling the presence of megacities on the planet.

"Hosnian Prime, the ancient home of the Celestials" the previously silent Proxima Midnight exclaimed

"True, but attacking it does mean that we will be challenging the Hosnian Defence Fleet. A fleet that is led by a Resurgence-Class Star Destroyer, the Legacy, under the command of Admiral Firmus Piett. But if the reports are true, then it will soon be guarded by a Vengeance-Class Star Dreadnought. It has come to my attention that another of those monsters is currently being prepared to take the Legacy's place?" Thanos asked Ebony Maw, who is one of his spymaster along with Corvus Glaive.

"It's true father, rather unfortunately. The Eclipse is what they called it. Soon it will be Battle-Ready and not to mension that due to the increasing tension, the Emperor has ordered the construction of two more Star Dreadnoughts, codenamed the Reaper and the Ravager. But there is indeed another order for several other Star Dreadnoughts that could be produced depending on the situation. The Inferno, the Desolator, the Annihilator, the Conqueror, and the Finalizer." Maw replied while shivering at the thought of more Star Dreadnoughts

"Then why don't we capture one of these Dreadnoughts for ourselves?" Proxima asked

"Because every ship in the Empire is connected to the Eternal Throne and only a fool would try to command one of these ships without getting controlled by the Emperor" Thanos responded

"Your orders sire?" Corvus Glaive asked Thanos

"Prepare the troops, in order to take the Gauntlet, we must strike fast and precise at the Defence Fleet. They have the numbers, but we have the element of surprise. We don't have much time though, only several hours before the rest of the Fleet arrived." Thanos commanded his army and the Black Order to full mobilisation.

'Once I am done, the Universe will finally know peace.' are the thoughts of Thanos as the Sanctuary II jumped to Hosnian Prime

The Spire, Zakuul

Thexan is currently sitting on the Throne reminiscing about the story from his mother when she was alive, before Arcann and Vaylin become cruel, before Valkorion become ignorant of his children and before he becomes known as the Tyrant

<flashback>

"Mama tell me more about this planet" a young Thexan asked his mother to tell him more about the little blue and circular object appearing on the hologram

"Didn't I tell you already young man?" His mother, the beautiful Senya Tirall smiled at her youngest

"Once more Mama, pleeeassee" Thexan responded with puppy eyes

Giggling, Senya pulled Thexan to her lap and started to tell the story again.

The planet known as Hosnian Prime, the main planet of an ancient star system called Hosnia, considered as a twin to Zakuul due to the similar environment.

However unlike Zakuul, Hosnian Prime until now is a planet shrouded in mystery

Formerly the Center of the Faith of the Six Gods of Zakuul before Valkorion built the Empire,

The people of Hosnian Prime started to follow the Six Gods of Zakuul after the fall of the Ancient Republic, where it is (falsely) believed that the Six Gods are the manifestation of the Infinity Stones

Delving deeper to the history of the planet, Senya told her son the legendary Republic and the government that become the basis as well as the inspiration of Valkorion in building the Empire.

Formerly the capital of an ancient republic civilization "The First Republic"

The first ever government in the Universe, the Republic has stood of over 1 Billion years prior to its fall. A Republic built by the Precursors themselves before an ancient species called the Forerunners took command of the Empire after the extinction of the Precursors.

During this time, the Forerunners started experimenting with their people. Using magic, and sorcery, they managed to create a sentient species of peak mortal capabilities. A species that eventually be called the Celestials.

Famous Celestials such as Uatu the Watcher, Eson the Searcher and Tiamut the Communicator were born during the Golden Age of the Republic, where its power streched from Hosnian Prime to the realms of Xandar, Asgard, and beyond.

However, greed of power and envy of the power wielded by their creation means that upon the discovery of the Infinity Stones, the Forerunners launched a massive war againts the Celestials. A war they lost due to the fact that the Celestials, not wanting to wage war againts their creator, begged to anyone who would listen to them to help, where it is rumoured that a being called The One Above All pitied them and decided to send them his Herald, The Living Tribunal.

In just 1000 years, the Celestials led by the Living Tribunal managed to exterminate the corrupted species and led them to extinction. To avoid such calamities, the Living Tribunal send the Infinity Stones to different parts of the universe, never to be united again, while the leadership of the Republic fell to the Celestials, which started another Golden Age that lasted for MIllions of Years.

Until 10.000 Years ago

A man known as Kang, a time traveller, saw the mighty Republic as a worthy kingdom to add to his Infinite Empire and waged war againts the Celestials

Using his powers, Kang managed to collect all of the Infinity Stones and killed over half of the living being in the Universe. The act also accidentally killed both Eternity and Infinity, while Death and Fate are overwhelmed by the number of souls passing through to the afterlife while billions if not trillions stings of fate are broken, causing the wheels of fate to shatter. This caused chaos everywhere. These chaotic situations led to the One Above All sending the Living Tribunal again to help the remaining Celestials in recovering the Stones from a very injured Kang, as he did not expect the Stones to be that powerful.

A massive battle consisting of the Celestials, Eternals, Deviants, and the remaining living beings againts the Conqueror himself led to a massive Multiversal War which includes an ancient reiteration of the Avengers, a Queen of Asgard Hela, an uncountable pantheon of Gods including the Olympians, the Egyptians, and others helped the remaining survivors in defeating Kang.

By the end of the war, however, Kang managed to partially destroy the balance of the Multiverse leaving the Living Tribunal to make a sacrifice, he will use the full power of the Infinity Stones to unite the entire Multiverse into one and killing Kang in every reality, avoiding something like this to happen again and returning the lives lost while sacrificing his life to achieve this, as even he is not strong enough to use the maximum capabilites of the Stones.

After the war, the body of the Living Tribunal was buried at Hosnian Prime in a location known as the Valley of Peace but unfortunately, in just 1000 years, the Republic would collapse and multiple Kingdoms or Empires will rise, including Xandar, Asgard, Kree, etc.

After ending the storytelling, Senya quietly carried her son who was fast asleep to his bed.

Hearing the legends and seeing it is very different for Thexan, although nowdays Hosnian Prime is a normal settlement of the Empire with a population of 30 billion living beings, it also holds several improtant monuments for Thexan including:

1. Tomb of Valkorion, Arcann, Vaylin, and Senya Tirall located in the Mausoleum of Dragons

2. It also serves as the birthplace of him, Arcann, and Vaylin

3. It holds the Museum of Infinity, a museum where items of unimaginable power and symbol resides and are kept safely, the Spear of Valkorion, Staff of Vaylin, Axe of Arcann, Crown of 'Kang' the Conqueror', and most importantly, the First Infinity Gauntlet, worn by the Living Tribunal itself, made out of an unknown metal dubbed the 'Godsteel'

Formerly though, the Museum also acts as the home of the Gift, a piece of very beautiful stone called the Arkenstone. It is also known as The Stone of the One, a gift and relic for winning the War and the one and only thing directly created by the One Above All that is given to mortals/HIs Children according The Living Tribunal. The Stone is now located in the middle of the Eternal Throne, and acts as the power source

A few moments later, suddenly a Knight of Zakuul ran to the Throne and reported that Thanos and his fleet is seen above Hosnian Prime and Admiral Piett is requesting support. Despite this however, Thexan is not surprised as after meeting Odin and getting informationfrom him before threathening him, he discussed the meeting with his advisors and concluded that Thanos wants to steal the Gauntlet.

After hearing the report, Emperor Thexan immediately ordered the Vengeance and the Eternal Fleet to come to Hosnian Prime and declared that The War has come to the Empire.

The Clash of Titans has begun
