Dad

I remember him. It's as clear as day. He was a weird man. He left when I was a kid. He left to become a "real" mage, but he just disappeared. He has yet to be seen or found. He cared about me. He was always concerned about me. He'd be by my side whenever anything happens. Whether it was that I was hospitalized or just ran off. He was there, so why did he leave. He was a weird man. In the years before he left us, he seemed off. In fact, before he left I had a bad feeling about him. Wait. This man isn't my dad. He's not my real dad, is he? These memories are messing up my sense of real and fake. Wait, did Adohira said something just then.

"School," Adohira yelled again.

"Oh yeah," I remarked.

I just blanked out there. I need to get ready for school. I get up as Akahiko is standing by the door waiting. I need to get dressed, but I just keep thinking of the memories of anything. At school, I think I have three close friends. Yoru, Hikaru, and Jiro are their names I believe. Yoru is an always-by your-side kind of guy. Hikaru is just way too nice and pure. Jiro is a good person, but he's always " not good enough" for anything. There's also Mitsuo. He's the one at the top of it all. He's "better" than anyone else. But they're about the only ones I can remember. I don't think there's anyone else or at least not any that I can remember. That means that I don't have many friends, so maybe I am a nobody. Or maybe not. I could have more friends, but probably not. I really do think it is just those four. One of them doesn't even like me.

Mitsuo really despises me. He's one of the many people who feel that way. Hikaru usually stands up for me when Mitsuo berates me. If I told Akahiko about Mitsuo, he'd end up in a hospital. Ugh, I still need to get to school. Today has something to do with magic. The results of today will completely change the hierarchy. Hopefully, I get something good or Mitsuo gets something just horrible, but I need to finish getting ready first.

After I'm done getting ready, I leave and walk them to school. They are much taller than me. I'm pretty short in general, but their height doesn't help. They look much older than me but I'm still the same age. Akahiko is pretty immature. Adohiro is practically and adult at this point. He's probably the best person I know. Akahiko is very flawed but he still loves me for whatever reason. I just hope we don't run into any trouble. I think we should be fine though Oh no. I think I jinxed myself. I have a sudden feeling that something bad is about to happen.
