Chapter seven

"Wh….. what are you doing? Let me go " she stuttered. She couldn't believe this strange man was having this much of an effect on her.

"What did I tell you? I'd take whatever I wanted from you by force "'he said and before he could do something else, she gathered strength in her and pushed him away

"What do you think of yourself huh? Just because you have a charming face do you think every girl will fall for you? I owe you nothing and get that into that coconut brain of yours or else, I'll be your worst nightmare " she told him

" I don't have nightmares," he smiled and stretched forth his arms, " I'm the nightmare " he told her and blasted a fireball at her.

"Aaargh" Amanda screamed as she jumped out of the couch in fear. She put her hand on her neck and she could feel the fear moving through her. She got off the couch and rushed to stare at herself in the mirror, She still looked the exact same but now she was sure of one thing, those two weren't humans but what did she owe him? What was in her that belonged to Gionna? She held her hair up like her whole life depended on it. Her neighbors were right, for someone who'd claimed to be kidnapped, she looked extremely beautiful. She put her hand on her stomach, was there really something in her? What could it be? She had many questions that needed to be answered but she knew one thing, all these questions were supernatural.

"These humans should stop stressing theirselves thinking about these things, they could go crazy "'Cecelia said as she sat back

"Don't forget Cecelia, she ain't just any human, she is the Supreme dragon lord's mate "

"And who cares? We have defeated the supreme dragon lord before so doesn't that make us supreme?"

"It doesn't Diva but trust me, when the time is right, we'll strike so hard that the whole world begs us to rule and we'll rule the world" Cecelia said with a smile on her face as she had a bite off her black apple.

She looked at the other women that were with her, " the supreme dragon lord would never accept a human, everyone knows how much he hates them. He even hates them more than he does us and we both know that if he still refuses to accept his mate, the consequences Ariel will give will be very strict and let's not forget, he's just the supreme dragon lord by title. He hasn't been given the supreme throne and his supreme powers haven't been activated. When can they be activated?" She asked

"When he is mated and marked " one of the witches said and Cecelia smiled.

"Exactly. He'll never get mated to a human, he just has an accidental mate but one thing that makes us the best rulers is that we don't need to be mated before we can get power but he does and he doesn't have much time because we just need one more thing to get our final concoction brewed so that we'll be more than halfway closer to ruling the world " Cecelia said

"And what do you need?"

"The supreme lord's blood that is now in that human girl" she said and they gasped.

"You know that is almost impossible Cecelia don't you?"

"Nothing is impossible. She is a human and these humans and very stupid and gullible. We'll get it for sure, we just have to play at the right time " she said and they laughed out loud.

Jeffrey closed his eyes as the milk made contact with his skin while he had his bath. He had a lot on his mind, his human mate, Gionna, the war with the Mastars and a lot more. How was he supposed to cope? He was even better off with the curse because to him, getting mated to a human was worse than being cursed for seven lives. He didn't even know who she was and the kind of person she was but he was mated to her but then one thing surprised him the most, how was she able to see the egg? The egg wasn't just a natural thing that could be seen with normal eyes. Did she have some supernatural powers.

Thinking about this, he sent the maid washing him away. "Of course, why didn't I think of this earlier? I'm sure, she must have sold her soul to get this power " he thought to himself.

"Poor Gionna, she warned me about this severally but no, I was just too stupid to listen to her and now look at the results, a human mate " he thought out loud.

He stared cloldly into thin air, " Gionna is right, there is only one solution to this and that is what I'll do. I'll have to kill this human but how? How do I kill her? I guess I'll have to go there and try again. The last time I tried killing her, it seemed like she was protected but I guess it was the power she got after selling her soul but this time, I'm going to attack her in a way that she doesn't expect. Gionna is the only dragon deserving of me and I'll make sure to be with her till the end" he said to himself " after this war with the Mastars, I'll have a reason to live other than destroying her and then giving Gionna what she rightfully deserves. Decades of love can't go down the drain because of one day's mistake, never!!"

He cleaned himself up before going to his chamber to get dressed. As he was changing, he received a message.

"Maythe dragon Lord continue to reign. Your highness, Dracool has come all the way from Gado to see you. May I send him away or beseeech he waits?" The messenger asked

Jeffrey smiled, at least there was now some good news. " do beseech he waits. I'll be there soon " he said

"Okay your highness " the messenger said and left.

Jeffrey hurriedly got changed before leaving his chamber to go see Dracool.

"Your highness, greetings" Dracool greeted as he bowed before Jeffrey.

"What are you doing Dracool? Have I not told you to never bow before me?" Jeffrey asked

"You have but it would be utmost disrespect to not greet the lord " he said and Jeffrey smiled.

"This is why you remain my favorite person in the whole world " he said with a smile and instead of sitting on his throne, he went and sat beside Dracool.

"You have still not changed have you Jeffrey? You still come to sit by me even when you know you are supposed to be on the throne " he said with a smile

"Oh Dracool, what are you saying now? It was you who made sure I'd sit on this throne one day after what those humans and witches did to me and my kingdom so why then will I want to show this power before you? Never, I'd be the most ungrateful king to do that " he said and Dracool smiled.

"It's okay. I have come from Gado, not to be praised or be reminded of the past but I have come here to make sure that you are alright so shall we please stop speaking about the past?" He asked and Jeffrey smiled

"Your wish is my command Dracool " he said

"So tell me, I have heard that the Mastars have waged war against Viola? What do you plan to do? I am now here and I am happy to be of help " Dracool spoke

"These Mastars didn't just think of waging a war in one day, they have definitely being planning this for a very long time, that I'm sure of but the thing that baffles me is why they would now wage the war when they clearly know how powerful Viola is? " he asked

Dracool chuckled," you might be approaching two hundred but you are still a child Jeffrey. Come to think of it, who would make such a stupid decision? Especially when it's against the supreme dragon lord? They definitely have an ally and their ally is someone who is with you. Their ally is a group that is still in the shadows. They don't want to be known to you so they have made use of the Mastars. They want you to believe that it will be a very easy war as the Mastars are not a huge kingdom but then, you will be shocked because if you keep expecting to see just a thousand warriors, you'll see a million and the shock won't let you concentrate but then you know the question you need to ask?"

"What ?" That was Jeffrey's question.

"Who among your subordinates wants you down?" Dracool asked " whoever it is, they have already gone far with their plans".
