29 Chapter 29 - Make Me Feel Things

When next she opened her eyes, it was to the daylight brightness of her room, Raquel's worried eyes and the King's angry ones.

Wait, what? The King?

What was he doing here and why was he angry?

"Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes boring down at her from where he was standing next to her bed.

She couldn't hold his gaze though, not after dreaming about him all throughout the night. Not after the last thing he had done to her in her dream.

Even though she knew it was just a dream, the feeling still lingered in her veins somehow.

"Yes, I am, your Majesty."

"How dare Kestra make you drink?! What if something had happened to you?! What if it was something you couldn't handle and everything had gone south. What would have become of me?!" His voice thundered.

She quickly looked up at him, his eyes were blazing with rage.

He was mad at Lady Kestra?

"She will be punished for this!"

Her heart raced.
