I woke up and looked at the clock as it showed me the time. 2078 4th of may, 5:50 p.m.

As I saw the time, my eyes lit up, and I almost cried because of joy. And the reason was simple. Today is the day hunters life gets released!

Hunters life? I'm sure you guys are confused, and so I will explain to you.

Hunters life is a new VRMMORPG created by the gaming and technology company the borst. The borst was known for their VR-Devices, but especially for their 'VR-Helmet' The VR-Helmet was a helmet that could scan your mind and subconscious, and therefore you could dive into a completely new world!

And Hunters Life was one of those games that were playable with the VR-Helmet. And not only that. Hunters Life was personally produced by borst itself.

But enough of borst. You guys want to get information about the game 'Hunters Life.' I'm sure you guys know about the 'Hunter' genre in novels like 'Solo Leveling.'

And Hunters' life plays in one of those genres. You start as a weak hunter, class, and rank and try to climb the leader to the top.

Four months ago, the game released a free-beta-pass for 1 hour. In that hour, 100 million people registered and got such a pass. And I was also one of them.

With 100 million people, I played the beta, and it was incredible. And exactly like in those novels.

The game had a simple ranking, and the ranks were: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and X. From the worst to the best. And not only the hunters were ranked like that. The game also ranked items, monsters, and even gates like that, and therefore the players could quickly evaluate everything.

But of course, there were the main classes such as Tank, Warrior, Assassin, Healer, Wizard, Archer, and Blacksmiths. Even though they were the classical classes, no one had a problem, and that was because the game gave everyone an own unique ability!

And that was why the game was so perfect and famous among all gamers. The game could create each player's own unique ability due to the mind scan that everyone had to do before starting the game.

And today was the day where I could finally dive into that world again. And not only I, but even the other 100 million players that got the pass could also dive into the world a whole day earlier than all other players, and due to that event, there was a worldwide broadcast.

I took my helmet, sat in front of my TV, and waited for the official broadcast that was starting five minutes before the release for all the beta-pass players.

I looked at my clock, and the time was running slowly. And after the longest 5 minutes of my life, it finally happened...

The broadcast began, and several news channels were broadcasting at the same time all around the globe.

As the broadcast began, a middle-aged man appeared on my TV and began to broadcast.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I'm sure all of you have been waiting till this day like it was torture, but the torture is finally over! Here is the official countdown to the release!" And as I heard that news of the middle-aged man, a bright smile appeared on my face.

5 minutes later...

"Ladies and Gentleman, the time is officially over, and there it is! We've got the permission.

The moment all of you have been waiting for! Hunters Life is released for the beta-testers!" The middle-aged man said as the broadcast stopped, and he disappeared.

As I heard those words, I got my helmet on.

I closed my eyes, and as I opened them, I saw the big symbol of Hunter's Life in front of me. I smirked, and as I clicked on the symbol...

Nothing happened...?

I took the helmet off and wondered. This is a game personally produced by the borst. How can it have any bugs?

But before I could think more of it, the TV turned on. As I looked at my TV, I saw a man that wore a black robe and a mask.

And before I could turn my TV off again, the man began to speak.

"Ladies and Gentleman, first of all, I think many of you and especially the gamers are confused. But this what I'm going to announce right at this moment will affect everyone." The man said as he paused for a while and began to talk again.

"I'm sure many of you are not aware of my identity. But let me introduce myself to you.

My name is Black Borst, and many of you call me the CEO of the company borst. I'm the creator of the VR-Helmet and probably also the one who created the technology of your pc, smartphone, and so on." He explained as my eyes widened.

Borst?! He is the one who created 'Hunters Life.' He is probably going to explain the problems of everything! And as I was happy, black continued.

"Many of you who are listening right now are probably gamers who bought Hunters Life.

And so I shall allow you to be real hunters!" As I heard his words, I was confused.

What does he mean by 'I shall allow you to be real hunters?' is that some kind of weird speech? But before I turned my TV off, black continued.

"To all 100 Million players who got the beta-pass open your palms and receive my compensation.

And to all presidents of each country. Open your palms."

I looked at my TV with questioning eyes and opened my palm. And as I did, a book appeared on my palm. I looked at my TV, and black continued with his speech.

"To all gamers and country leaders. A book appeared in front of yours, right?

Perfect. Well then, I can continue.

The book the governments have gotten are unique books that will give each country one evaluation stone and one evaluation machine. Those items will spawn as you open those books.

And now to the books, all gamers have gotten, or should I say, Hunters? You've heard me right. The book each gamer got, is going to decide each gamer's abilities, and you will become a Hunter!

After I finished my speech, the so-called 'gates' will appear worldwide. And as many of you know, you have seven days to clear it before monsters will come out and massacre the humans. The evaluation stone you've gotten can evaluate the rank of each hunter. The following ranks are F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and X.

And for the other item, the evaluation machine that machine is for evaluating the items inside the gate and the gate itself. And you've heard right. There are several items inside those dungeons that have immense value.

And now to all gamers. I don't have to explain much. But the moment you open that book, you will get an individual power that perfectly matches you.
