1 Sorry, I Forgot

The hard rays of the bright morning sun fell on Liu Rushi's face and she couldn't help but scrunch up her face. Soon, the rays fell deeper on her face and Liu Rushi got up from her sleep and noticed that she was in an unfamiliar surrounding. Her head was throbbing like anything and the pain on her lower side was nothing compared to a killer.

She felt her lower part to be numb and sore. She couldn't remember anything that had happened last night. She looked at her sideways and was stunned to see a man lying by beside her. She was also astounded by his beautiful features.

Her hands were itching to touch him. Just as she was about to touch she started getting flashbacks of her last night. She immediately got up realizing what she had done. She kept her hands on her head and tried to suppress the throbbing pain.

Seeing that her body was only covered with a quilt, she couldn't help but cry. Tears started to flow from her eyes. She searched for the clothes in the room and found them lying scattered aside of the bed. She then took her scattered clothes and rushed towards the bathroom.

There were tears in her eyes. She locked the bathroom door and crouched on the floor. She brought her knees towards her chest and started crying. She wanted to go back in the past and wanted to solve everything. She wanted to start her life from the start. If she hadn't met this man, things would have been better; she wouldn't have been crying like this.

Liu Rushi is a flower shop owner. Her business was going very great until last week. Since last week, some other flower shop opened beside her shop so, her business went down. Moreover the flowers sold in that shop were sold by a handsome guy. So obviously people would rush to his place to see that person.

Even the people who were working in her shop were going and working in his shop. This shop was of her parents. They worked hard to open up a shop of their own and when they got old Liu Rushi took over her parents shop and happily sold the flowers to the customers.

Even though Liu Rushi's shop was small, it had various flowers and she sold it in less price. But ever since the other shop got opened, people rushed to the other shop rather than hers. Even her daily customers were going over there. Why?? It was just to have a glance of that handsome guy.

Things had been so bad yesterday, that she thought of closing the shop and giving up, but it was her parents only shop so she couldn't do it. Yesterday, she wasn't able to sell a single flower. She wasn't able to earn a single penny and when she looked at the shop beside hers; it was crowded, many people were buying flowers from there.

It was now 10pm. Liu Rushi closed the shop and was heading home. She was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. It was dark and quiet. Very less people were there. Liu Rushi received a phone call and so she went a little far from the bus stop to pick up the call. It was her friend Feng Mian.

Just as she picked up a loud yell was heard from the other side. "LIU RUSHI...." She heard her friend yell and removed the phone from her ear. The voice was very loud, loud enough for the people to hear, but thankfully there was now no one beside her.

Liu Rushi slowly brought the phone towards her ear and now she was able to hear Feng Mian panting. Feng Mian spoke angrily "Liu Rushi, How can you forget huh?? You didn't even wish me... So mean." Liu Rushi's day had been so bad since the past week that she forgot about her best friends anniversary.

Feng Mian was two years elder than Liu Rushi. Liu Rushi was 23 and Feng Mian was 25. They both met in high school and were friends till now. Feng Mian got married last year with Wu Muqing. Wu Muqing was an employee working under Tang Industries.

As far as Liu Rushi knows, he was a very well behaved man, who was very gentle, caring and loving towards Feng Mian. They were now even thinking of starting their own family.

Liu Rushi said in a sad tone "I'm sorry Feng Mian. I really forgot. I'm sorry once again." Feng Mian gave a chuckle and said "Ehhh... Stupid. Why are you feeling sad huh?? I was just joking... I know that you have been busy lately that's why it is possible to forget. Aiyyoo... I didn't know my friend would become so sad on just a small thing. No worries now. You can wish me now..."

Liu Rushi gave a slight nod and said "Okay... Happy anniversary to the best couple... Feng Mian and Wu Muqing - The Love Birds... "

Feng Mian blushed and spoke "Aiyyo... Don't say that so loud.. You want the whole world to know or what?? Thank you though."

Liu Rushi nodded and said "Yes, yes, I want the whole world to know about you..." After some more teasing and talking Liu Rushi kept the phone. She looked at her surroundings.

She face palmed herself and said "Ugh... My day is already bad and now I'm in this unknown place. My phone calling habits ugh...." Just as she was taking out her phone, she heard few voices. They were different and weird. As the voices came near. Her heart started to race. She got goosebumps all over her body and she felt scared.
