1 Prologue

It all began with a simple package.

Every month or so, starting about six months after their mother had died, the boys would receive a package in the mail with varying amounts of money. It started with a few twenties, just enough to get by, but the cash began increasing after that.

The boys didn't know who had sent the money and they didn't think anything of it. Until, one day, that is, when a person they had never met before showed up at their door. In his hands was a box containing the same familiar packaging—a white cube box with "Olympians Postal Service" written in italicized gold.

The younger twin sat in a chair in the living room, his face pale but his arms an olive color. He wore a black Avengers t-shirt with a gray jacket over it, black skinny jeans, and combat boots. The older twin stood over his work stand in the laboratory located in his room on the second floor, wearing a red flannel t-shirt under a pure white lab coat, blue jeans, and red and black high tops on.

The man standing outside the on the porch, which badly needed a new paint job, wore a Hawaiian polo shirt and khaki shorts. Distantly down the street, a skinny teen with fairly dark olive skin with a pale-looking boy right behind him walked slowly toward the house. The one in front wore pastel blue and green while the pale boy was wearing all black—the plain t-shirt and suffocatingly skinny jeans, along with the beanie atop his head. They were too busy arguing to even see the man on the porch of their destination.
