The Divorced Heiress Is Getting Married Again!

Although it was only a marriage of convenience, Amelie Ashford was the perfect wife in every aspect. She was intelligent, obedient, and well-respected. She was kind to everyone and devoted to her husband. And she was perfectly content to spend the rest of her life like that, even though she was constantly nagged about getting pregnant. That was until her husband entered their house with a mistress by his side and eventually demanded a divorce. "Very well," Amelie said calmly, "I will divorce you." Richard's eyes shone as he heard his wife utter these words. However, to his surprise, she was not done. "But don't be surprised when you get an invitation to my next wedding." To everyone's shock, Amelie indeed got married again, and to a younger and, as it turned out, richer man! And she made sure that her ex-husband realized what it meant to lose the support of a woman like her. _____ "I was raised to be the perfect upper-class wife, groomed to excel and remain vigilant. All I knew was how to fake a smile, read, and work hard to ensure nobody dared to look down on my family. But in the end, that was exactly what made me boring and dull. So when my husband decided to divorce me, why did Liam fall in love with me instead?" Important: FL is not a Mary Sue. Divorce happens in the second part of the novel so watch out for your blood pressure.

Au Contraire

Samantha had been awake since five in the morning. Once Richard left the mansion, she couldn't get back to sleep again. In fact, for the last few days, she didn't feel like she could rest at all.

Locked in her bedroom, she paced back and forth, nervously biting her nails. Meeting Jason Sanson still bothered her immensely. But what troubled her most was the ruthless lie she had told Richard about her relationship with Jason and her career at one of his hostess bars.

'This won't do,' she thought to herself, 'I need to settle this once and for all.'

She grabbed her phone and started scrolling through her contacts. After she left the bar, she didn't remove any of her old connections; instead, she changed their names in case someone would go through her phone looking for something to use against her.

Jason Sanson was hidden behind the name "Jennifer".

"Ugh," she groaned loudly, "I don't want to do this, but I have no choice."
