Arrogance is bad for you!

Before anyone could react, the arrow slammed straight into the thin water barrier. With a resounding boom, the two collided. Seeing his barrier withstand the arrow, Eldor gloated a little, since he could withstand her arrows with magic, what would she be able to do? Sure, the arrow left a jarring hole in the barrier, but he didn't think much of it. Unfortunately, his arrogance would be his downfall. Even though the sound of the arrow zooming through the air should've disappeared, it was still present.

Eldor was surprised, but as he looked around, he noticed a familiar sight heading straight for him! Another arrow that Evellia released when he wasn't looking was on a straight course toward him, and due to the hole in his barrier, nothing was stopping it from reaching its target. Before Eldor could do anything to his barrier, the arrow had already gone through it.
