1 Chapter 1. The Beginning

The Holy Land Mary Geoise is the capital of the World Government, where its highest rulers and World nobles reside. There are two main locations in this capital; the Pangaea castle and the domain of the Gods.

The Pangaea castle is where the World Government meets and works. It is also the place where Levely takes place.

The Domain of the Gods is where the World Nobles and their slaves reside. It is a fairly regular town, with trees and a fountain decorating the streets. However, it is very large as it constitutes most of the area of Mary Geoise. It appears that all of the residences in Mary Geoise are large mansions.

Right now inside the Pangaea castle, a meeting was taking place in the Room of Authority.

The 5 elders who control the entire World Government were on their knees in front of a young black-haired youth. Their eyes were filled with utmost respect and dedication for the handsome young man.

The black-haired youth in front of them was Carl, one of the celestial dragons who live inside the Domain of the Gods. Though, unlike the other Celestial Dragons, his identity was way more special.

He is the current heir of the Augur family, a family that is on the top even among the other Celestial dragon families. The Augurs were the first family who initiated the plan to create the World Government.

In terms of influence and power, the Augur family was more powerful than the combined might of the eighteen other Celestial families.

These weren't all the reasons why the 5 elders were being so respectful to him. The hidden ruler of the World Government who is known as IM to a very specific number of people is the ancestor of the Augur family. This is the reason why the other families don't dare to act in front of or even behind the back of the Augur family.

"Anything else to report?" The black-haired youth asked with a calm expression.

The bald head elder with a large white moustache hesitated but soon he began to speak. "The second commander of the Whitebeard pirate has been spotted in the first of the Grand Line."

"You mean Portgas D. Ace?" The spectacle-wearing elder spoke. "According to our information, he is hunting down a man named Blackbeard who has killed one of his comrades."

"Whitebeard won't let him go, no matter what happens." The youngest-looking elder spoke with a serious expression. "All the crewmembers are his family and he never forgives anyone who harms his family."

"Leave them alone for now," Carl ordered them with a calm expression. "I believe that we will be able to see a very good outcome from this hunting game."

He then stood up from the sofa and stretched his arms before turning to look at the other side of the sofa. "Let's go now, Alexa. We need to head back to our home."

Even though the 5 elders couldn't see the person with whom Carl was talking, they knew about that thing. It was something that made them believe in the might of Carl.

In ancient times, there used to be three weapons that were said to have the power to destroy the entire world. They were known as Pluton, Poseidon and Uranus.

Though after the events of the Void Century, both Pluton and Poseidon disappeared except for Uranus who had chosen the Ancestor of the Augur family.

From that time, Uranus was with the Augur ancestor however except for him, no other person ever managed to see the spirit, not even Alexander Augur, the father of Carl could see it.

Though it all changed some months ago when all of a sudden Carl saw the spirit of Uranus. From that time, Carl's authority inside the World Government was raised many times.

Many celestial dragons who aren't aware of this fact might find it very hard to believe that the current authority that Carl wields is many times higher than his father.

Noticing their worshipping expressions, Carl couldn't help but smile amusingly. Shaking his head, he walked out of the room with his hands inside his pockets.

When he was outside of the Pangaea castle, he glanced at the castle for a moment before sighing and walking away. The guards who were at the entrance gate bowed in respect to which he simply nodded much to their relief.

"It's been a year already...." He mumbled with a reminiscent expression while thinking about the events that transpired at that time.

He was originally someone from Earth and was transmigrated into this world for some unknown reason. He remembered reading the latest chapter of his favourite manga One Piece in the night and when he woke up again, he was here.

He panicked in the beginning but soon he managed to calm himself and think about the things that he needed to do. Though all of his plans changed when he got the memory of the body to which he had transmigrated.

Even though the guy wasn't as dumb as the other celestial dragons, he was still very arrogant and ignorant. Since he was always pampered by his parents, he had a very weak body even compared to the civilians. 

It took him some time to act like him but he began to change himself soon while waiting for his cheat. Though after one week when he got nothing, he chose to give up on his laziness and began to train his body.

Using future knowledge, he also learnt about his current position in the timeline and he was very happy when he got to know that, he came nearly a year before the official beginning of the plot.

Still, he decided to train himself for some months as he didn't want to go outside without sufficient strength to protect himself. The CP-0 was strong but could they do something in case he gets shot by someone?

After one month, a strange thing happened to him. Inside his room, he saw a little fox on his bed. He was confused about its sudden appearance but before he could do anything, that fox suddenly moved toward him at astonishing speed and went inside his body.

When he woke up the next day, he had learnt about the fox spirit. Since he didn't have any cheats, he believed that this was his only gift from the being who sent him here so he happily named the spirit.

Even though he could use the power of Uranus, he needed to spend his life force for it to attack. The greater the distance, the greater the life force it needs.

With the help of Uranus, he managed to get a high authority in the World Government, something that he had never used till now.

During the training time, he many times wanted to go to the treasure room to get a powerful devil fruit for himself but he chose to suppress his urge and continued to train his body.

Now after spending 8 months training his body, he could finally feel safe. Even though it wasn't much, however, compared to before, it was many times better.

"I think it's time for me to visit the weakest sea….." He mumbled with an amused smile while thinking of the protagonist of this world.

He wasn't dumb enough to believe that people would let him go after knowing his identity, especially in the last war so he needed to act before the time to deal with the sudden rise of Straw hat pirates.

Hearing the sudden mechanical voice in his mind, Carl stopped in his tracks. His eyes widened in shock for a moment however he soon composed himself.

'System, what are your functions?' He mentally asked.

[As long as the host keeps changing the original trajectory of the world, you can get rich rewards from the system.]

'What can I get in rewards? Skill, devil fruits and abilities or something else?' He curiously asked.

[The system can only provide you with abilities and skills at a divine level. As for the other things, the system can't provide them to host.]

It was a little disheartening to know that he can't get items from the system but he was still very happy about the fact that he could get skills and abilities.

'By the way, what are the ranks of skills and abilities?' He asked curiously and started to walk toward his house once again.

[The ranks are divided into- Beginner

Intermediate, Advanced, Master, Grandmaster, Divine, God]

Seeing the text in front of his eyes, Carl took a deep breath to calm down his excitement. No matter what skills he receives from the system in the future, they would be very overpowered.

[It is detected that the novice gift hasn't been opened yet. Does the host wish to open the novice gift?]

"Novice gift?" Carl mumbled with a surprised expression. 'Open it.' He mentally commanded the system with an excited expression.

[Congratulations host for obtaining Conqueror Haik(Divine) and an enhanced version of Toki-Toki no mi which doesn't come with the usual weakness. The devil fruit has been stored inside the inventory.]

Seeing the stuff that he got from the system for nothing, he couldn't help but chuckle but he calmed himself. 'Didn't you say that I won't receive anything other than skills and abilities from you? So how come I received a devil fruit in the novice gift?'

[The novice gift is something that gets decided randomly. The system can assure you that from now on you won't receive anything other than skills and abilities.]

Hearing the system clarification, he simply nodded and didn't think about it any more. To him, it was an excellent thing to get such a powerful devil fruit without any side effects.

Walking through the streets of the city, he came across a lot of celestial dragons who greeted him with flattering expressions. He calmly nodded at them and continued to walk toward his house.

Soon, he reached the mansion where the Augur family has lived since the creation of the World Government. Seeing him, the guards at the entrance bowed in respect.

He leisurely walked toward the mansion while looking at his surroundings. The maids, butlers and guards, all of them bowed the moment they noticed his appearance.

Noticing his mother sitting in the living room with a girl, he decided to talk with them first about his departure. He only needed to talk with his mother as she would inform her husband on her own.

"Carl, my dear son. Come here." Alena instantly called her son when she saw his appearance. "Look, who came here to meet you once again." She spoke with an amused smile.

"I-I just wanted to talk with lady Augur, Carl…." Sharlia hurriedly spoke while trying to hide her blush from him.

Carl chuckled at her embarrassed expression while sitting next to his mother. "Mother, I will be leaving Mary Geoise tomorrow to look at the outside world." He calmly told her much to her surprise.

"It's okay. Your father always wanted you to go outside of the Mary Geoise." Alena calmly spoke with a small smile. "I will call Kong to send two Admirals for your protection."

"I don't need two Admiral's protection Mother," Carl replied with an amused smile. "I will be taking Sophie with me. She is more than enough to protect me from anyone."

"If you don't want an Admiral then I will order him to send a Vice-Admiral other I won't let you go." Alena agreed with his request as she too knew that Sophie was someone very capable.

"I don't have any problem with it, Mother." Saying that he stood up from his seat. He leaned in to kiss her cheek making her smile in ecstasy.

"Take care of yourself," Alena said with a serious expression. She then signalled Sharlia to follow him.

Carl nodded at her words and began to walk away not paying attention to Sharlia as he knew that she would follow him. It has become a habit of hers for the last 4 months.

Seeing them walking away from the living room, the previous smile disappeared from Alena's face and a cold expression appeared.

She picked up the Den-Den Mushi that was on the table and called the oldest one from the 5 elders.

"What happened, Lady Augur?" From the Den-Den Mushi, a serious voice came out.

"My son wants to leave Mary Geoise tomorrow to see the outside world," Alena said in a serious tone. "I want you to prepare an excellent ship for him along with a powerful Vice-Admiral."

"I will prepare it before dawn, Lady Augur."
