I skim thru the raws and he still haven't given xia jingyu achance after 3.2k chapter. I dropping it as it already a bad novel to began with. Plot only developed when one or both of the bitches he like get taken or etc. Only stick around because I though it will get better because of the review but it seem like I got yeeted.
The translation quality of this novel is really good. But the plot development is awful. In the beginning it started off like any other novel would with the Mc facing some sort of injustice, then gaining more power and striking back. But that's basically it. EVERY SINGLE ARC IS THE SAME. The MC sees a treasure. Offends a powerful person who likes to use words of justice to force the MC to give it up. The MC refuses. They fight. The MC wins. Then the elder comes in in the name of justice and fights with the MC again. I'm not joking. I've read till chapter 400 and the plot is still the same. This is also why I'm dropping reading this book. Repeating the same plot over and over again is NOT a creative book. It's an awful book. The worst part is when the same plot is repeated within 20 chapters.
I read 400 chapters of this novel, and i must say it's really disappointing. It's essentially just su yu that found a place to cultivate, his fiancees get kidnapped, he saves them, but they are taken away again, he go saves them again for 400 chapters. The cultivation is really not detailed except a little bit for the Holy/Divine decree. It's detailed in level and not with many words. The way he uses his techniques also look like a RPG game when he just say the word of the techniques again and again.(but when it's serious they have an exclamation point between each word) So to conclude if you like a novel that repeat itself for 400 chapters go for it, the romance is there for 10 chapter with xianer at the beginning.
I usually donβt mind a cliche novel like this but dear god, its so bad. The world building is absolute crap, face slapping is way over the top. Kinda feel the author was just copy pasting dialogue. The βcheatβ of his has no substance, and every arc is a tournament arc. To sum it up, its boring.
