When the lightning wolf collided with the fire dragon a sort of explosion occurred and a light much more intense than Cassy's magic blinding pills dazzled them all and the shockwave that followed was also phenomenally powerful.

Oliver was not expecting it and he was thrown out of the platform and crashed to the ground.

Immediately a protective red aura covered him and protected him from the rest of the shockwave which was fortunately contained by the shield that surrounded the platform and the few meters around it.

As for Steven, his red flame protected him with a shield of fire that swirled around him, and neither the explosion nor the shockwave managed to pass through it.

He didn't move an inch, even though he was in the middle of a storm of fire and lightning and it took several minutes for the storm to stop and disperse by itself.
