The dusk had descended, casting a dim hue upon the surroundings. As Mu Yang and Mu Xue entered the living room where Mu Qingyuan resided, the latter had been patiently waiting for quite some time. At this moment, Mu Qingyuan had closed his eyes slightly, his breath ethereal, and his complexion even paler than before.
"Dad, Mu Yang is here," Mu Xue spoke first.
"Oh, he's here." Mu Qingyuan opened his eyes and looked towards the approaching duo.
"Dad, what's the matter?" Mu Yang inquired.
"I'll cut to the chase." Mu Qingyuan nodded, then continued, "Yang, are you the rumored King of the Hundred Beasts?"
Upon hearing this, Mu Yang seemed prepared, showing no surprise at all. Instead, he nodded calmly and said, "Yes."
"Haha, well done, young man!" Before Mu Yang could respond, Mu Qingyuan stood up, patting Mu Yang's shoulder vigorously. He laughed heartily, "Excellent, excellent!"
