1 Prologue I

If I knew how I died, I would probably wish to forget it anyway. I don't believe humans, or any animal for that matter, were designed to cope with the stresses that it would bring. All I remember from my supposed "death" is that I was in pain, terrible pain. There was a loud noise and everything lit up in a symphony of colours. People were screaming and I probably was too, but you never know that until someone tells you. What they were screaming for, I don't know. If I had to guess then I'd wager that it was whatever had thrown me back so violently. Something, I don't know what, was piercing my chest and it felt like I was stuck under something. That is also when it got dark and my first life came to an end...
