Chapter twenty four

Devon walked to Celina's side, then gave her a slap on the left side of her face. Celina fell on the ground, holding her jaw.

" how dare you slap me? " Celina yelled, as she was trying to hold her tears.

" and you're still talking " Devon said. He squats...

" looking at you closer, you are really pretty. Very pretty. As a wife, won't you do the honor of taking me to bed? " he asked as he stared at her head to toe. Celina just stared at him with an upset eyes, then went away.

Celina's room

" he slapped me, Lizzy " Celina cried out.

" how... " Jake got interrupted...

" don't say anything that you would regret saying please " Celina said.

" I won't regret it, my lady " Jake said, annoyed.

" my lady, just sleep. Maybe lord Devon's just in a bad mood... " Lizzy got interrupted.

" that would make him slap me? " Celina yelled, still crying.

" my lady, just leave it. It's just a slap " Lizzy said.

" there's nothing like just a slap to me" Celina said angrily.

" okay, Jake an I are leaving first " Lizzy said, then dragged Jake along with her. Celina just stared at the ceiling upset, as she remembered the slap she had just received.

The next day, she didn't go to Devon's room. Instead, Devon was the one that came to her, in the dining room.

" Celina, can I talk to you? " he asked. But Celina didn't respond, she didn't even look at him. Devon turned to his servants. He turned his head to the door, then turned his head back to them. They understand what he meant, so they bowed and left the dining room.

" I'm sorry for what I did yesterday " Devon said with a sad voice. Celina didn't say anything, she just continue eating her food, without caring about what he was saying.

" I didn't know what happened, it was like I wasn't in control of my own body, I couldn't even control my own mouth..." Devon then got interrupted...

" you're saying someone was controlling you? " Celina rushed.

" I think so " Devon replied.

" maybe it's those people that wants to be the next Devil. Why can't they just do normal election, then let the people from the underworld would elect their next Devil " Celina complained.

" hahaha " Devon laughed.

" why are you laughing, I'm serious " Celina said.

" you're funny " Devon said. He picked Celina's hand, then kissed the back...

" please forgive me, will you? " Devon asked showing his cute face.

" after showing me that beautiful cute face? of course I'll forgive you. After all, you're my one and only " Celina replied. Devon was then about to kiss her when Rufus came...

" my lord " Rufus called, and the same time bow

" why didn't you stay outside like every one else? " Devon said as he was getting upset.

" I'm sorry, my lord. But we are having some problems in hell " Rufus explained.

" Devon, go " Celina said, as she kissed him on his cheek, and left the room. Devon turned to Rufus...

" you disturbed me " Devon said while cracking his teeth.

" I'm sorry, my lord " Rufus apologized. Devon stared hard, before he disappeared.

Later that day, Celina started telling Jake and Lizzy about how Devon had apologized to her, and how cute he was. Both Lizzy and Jake sat down to listen to the whole story.

" Jake, I'm in a good mood, why don't you go to your girlfriend, and Lizzy go to your husband and children " Celina said in a good mood.

" my...my lady... " Jake stammered.

" don't be shy, go go go " Celina pushed Jake out of her room. She then turned to Lizzy...

" go to your husband " Celina ordered.

" what about you? if something happens to you, I'll be in trouble " Lizzy tried to make an excuse.

" no. Go " Celina ordered. Lizzy smiled, then disappeared.

Devon came back that that night. The first thing he did, was to go to his beautiful wife's room. He appeared inside the room. Celina was laying on her bed, facing the other direction. Devon lay behind her...

" how are you today? " Devon asked, then kissed Celina's naked shoulder.

" I'm good " Celina replied.

" I miss your kisses, you know? " Devon said as he continued kissing her shoulder.

" then, why don't I give you my all, tonight? " Celina turned to him.
