Chapter sixty

Abyzou arrived at the forest.

" now, I will have to find Devon " Abyzou thought, as she was checking left, right, front and back to see which direction she'sgonna take. And at last, she took the left direction.

Molly and Grey entered the forest. Grey didn't want her to come along at first, but she kept on insisting, after all, Celina's her best friend. Grey couldn't say no after do many pleading, so he just let her follow.

" can I scream Celina's name? " Molly asked, As the the both of them were walking.

" why are you asking? " Grey asked, with a smile on his face.

" what if some wolves or vampires or mermaids from that river, or even big foot hears me?, they'll come after us " Molly said.

" I'm here, I'll protect you " Grey said. Molly smiled shyly and was staring at her feet. Infact, she was already blushing.

Grey stopped walking, and stood in front of Molly. Molly was staring at the ground, so she bumped into him. Hitting his chest with her head. She looked up, with both her cheeks burning up.

Grey then bent his body down, so his face would directly be in front of her face.

" are you shy? " Grey asked, with a smile on his face. Molly stared at him surprised, like was it obvious?. Now her whole face is burning like crazy...

" n...no... why... why.... wo...would... I... be shy? " Molly asked, as she walked ahead of him, to avoid his handsome face, which was making her confused. Grey smiled, then followed her.

After walking for an hour, Abyzou finally found Devon and the vampire. She ran to them...

" you guys are still here " she said. Devon didn't reply. She then moved her gaze to the weak vampire. He already looked like someone that won't last long, before he kicks the bucket. It's like Devon had been giving him serious beatings.

The vampire was walking slowly, and that's why they still haven't reached their destination. All of a sudden, the vampire fell down. He was breathing like someone that had been strangled for for four minutes.

" I...might... not make it that far " the vampire said, breathlessly.

" uh... " Abyzou said, confused. " well that is good, now he won't take Devon to Celina " Abyzou said in her thoughts. Her lips curved a little. she didn't want to show Devon that she was smiling, so she covered her mouth, so it would look as if she was just surprised. And surprised for what?, the vampire didn't say anything that would make them surprise.

" so I would tell you who betrayed you, and paid us to kidnap Celina " as the vampire finished talking, the smile on Abyzou's face, faded. Now, she's looking at him with those wicked eyes that kills.

" are you telling me that someone paid you guys to kidnap Celina?, and that person is from my trusted people? " Devon asked, with his cold voice.

" if Celina were here, she will say ' didn't you heard what he said? ' um " Devon heard a familiar voice from behind. He turned and saw Grey and an unknown girl standing beside him.

" hello, Devon " Molly said, with a little bit of smile on her face. Devon stared at her with his unreadable face.

" am I supposed to be fearless in front of him? " Molly whispered to Grey. Grey chuckled.

" sometimes " Grey replied.

" who is she? " Devon asked.

" she... " Grey was about to answer, but...

" I'm Molly. Celina's best friend " Molly replied.

flashback

This was when Abyzou had sat on Devon's legs, and Devon talked to Celina in her room.

" where were you " Devon asked.

" I was with Molly, but later with Grey " Celina replied.

End of flashback

Devon didn't say anything, he just turned and continued his talk with the vampire.

" tell me, who is the betrayer? " Devon asked.

" she... " as the vampire was about to talk, an arrow passed through his chest.

Grey quickly stood in front of Molly, and covered her face with his chest.

" what was that? " Abyzou asked, as she started searching around. Devon quickly rushed to him, and was shaking him...

" tell me, who is the betrayed me?, tell me? " Devon yelled with different emotions showing on his face.

flashback

Before Abyzou left her house, she called her messager. He arrived...

" mistress " he said, as he bowed.

" you're gonna kill that vampire " she ordered.

" yes, mistress " the messager bowed, then left.

End of flashback

Abyzou just kept looking at the sky, as she was remembering what she did. When she snapped out of it, she turned to Devon. But to her surprise, Devon wasn't there.

" where's Devon? " she asked.

" while you were lost in your thoughts, Devon went after the killer " Molly replied, rudely. Now, Abyzou is scared.
