Chapter eighty eight

Twenty years later, the world is now in chaos. If you are righteous enough, then maybe you'll be safe, because demon attack righteous people alot. The place looks ordinary, but filled with cold blooded criminals.

Demons kept on tempting the innocent to do bad, and the angels would also persuade them not to do bad. The scoring is will always be 50/50.

With Devon ruling the underworld, he won't rest till he destroy the world and kills his mother, Aynat.

Devon was inside his study. The place was so dark and cold enough to freeze someone to death. He was just sitting on his chair and watching his demons as they were corrupting the people's mind. And just then, Rufus entered.

" my lord " Rufus bowed. Devon didn't stop staring at the screen.

" I'm listening " he replied, his voice so lifeless and cold.

" the demons are doing their work well. They've destroyed ten families only this week, they've poisoned twenty people's mind in killing both themselves and other people. And even priests an pastors are sleeping with our female demons " Rufus said.

" that's good " Devon said with no sign of joy at all. " you can go " he ordered. Rufus bowed, then turned. After taking two steps, he stopped, then turned.

" my lord, where ever the lady is, I'm sure she's not happy about your condition " Rufus said.

" what condition is that? " Devon asked.

" since the past twenty years, you've not even smiled even a glance. You're always here in the dark alone. You said you wouldn't be doing your fathers work talk less of taking over, but look at you now, you've taken over. You're killing the world " Rufus explained.

" they killed my love " he replied.

" Aynat killed your love, and not the world " Rufus rushed in.

" I don't care, I'm angry at the world " Devon said. ( Devon gets up from his chair, and was walking to Rufus's direction.

" I lost my smile the day I lost the love of my life. I lost my light and heart the day I lost my love. Now, I no longer have a heart. Good people were supposed to stay longer, but Celina died so young, so I won't pity anybody. If I can lose the light of my life, my everything, why can't other loss theirs? " Devon explained. Rufus sighed.

" I will ruin everyone " Devon said. Rufus closed his eyes, turned his head left and right, then left the room. Devon walked to the window, and was just staring through it.

" I hate this world " he said " and everything in it " he added.

The next day afternoon, a young boy of 16 years old was passing a store when he saw his dream video game. And it seems like he had loved that game for years.

He stared at it for a long time, day dreaming about it, showing his love through the eyes. He reached his pocket and brought out lots of changes.

He sat on the ground then counted it. The money was just 10,000 when he needed 15,000. He grumbled and with faith, he entered the store with the mind of just stealing it.

" good afternoon dear, what do you want? " the receptionist asked.

" I want to...." he stopped as he was already having second thoughts. He turned his head to the video game. This little boy has been stealing for years. Even the money on him, was also stolen. And that's how he made a living without his parents or guide, since he doesn't have any.

He's parents died when he was five years old. And he does not know any other relatives. He has been living on the street since then till now.

The boy kept on staring at it with second thoughts.

" don't take it " a voice said. " it's not yours, don't take it" the voice added. Anytime he wants to steal, he always hear voices, telling him to and not to do things.

" do it " he heard another voice. " you've always wanted this video game,why are you thinking hard?, you've been doing this for years" the voice said.

" don't do it, change. Leave this place, and leave a happy life" the first voice said.

" what happy life? the one without parents, siblings, relatives and not even friends?I would killed myself a long time ago, if it was me" the second voice said.

" don't spoil his mind, you can be happy. There are people that grew up without parents and friends nor siblings,and they are rich right now. All they had was God in their hearts, to guide them. You are no different, just turn back,and leave this store" the first voice said.

" you've been suffering since young, now that you've seen what you've been longing for,not even on TV,but in life, just standing in front of you, just take it, and go " the second voice said.

" I will do it " the kid said,then went for it.

" I will get what I want" the second voice said.

" you've won this time demon, don't think that it will happen again with me" the first voice said.

" I will" the second voice said. He waited for a while,but there was no response, and that was how he found out that the angel is no longer around. The demon showed himself, but no one could still see him. He happily watched the kid steal the video game, and unfortunately,the boy was caught. The demon laughed out loud. The demon standing before them was none other than Devon.
