8 Bruises

"Minda" the queen shouted,

"What? should I just leave her to do as she pleases as always?" Minda asked,

"You will pay for that" Emily said the the princess smiled,

'If you think I am afraid of you then you are highly mistaken sweetheart" she replied as she held onto her hand in pain.

"Minda that is no way to handle a situation," her mother said,

'I found that was the best way to teach her a lesson, I made it very clear that he is my bodyguard and not a servant, we help ourselves, she can do the same mom, stop spoiling her" Minda replied,

"Make sure this doesn't happen again Emily, we are not kids anymore so stop acting like one," she said then began coughing.

"Are you okay?" Amias asked,

'Yeah I am fine" she responded as she pulled her hair then her mother saw a red lining across her back.

'Mida what's that on your back?" her mother asked then her eyes widened and she fixed her hair.

"Nothing" she responded.

"Those are bruises, how did that happen?" her mother asked as the girl started to see double then she fainted and Amias caught her.

"Minda" her mother called out as the boy lifted her up in his arms and placed her on the couch.

"What's wrong with her?" the king asked,

"I don't know" Amias responded as he looked at her remembered that he promised not to say anything.

"Did she fall?" Stella asked,

"I am not always around her, I don't know" Amias responded,

'How can you not know you are her bodyguard?" Emily asked with a smirk,

"Maybe you should shut your mouth a little" Amias responded then she gasped,

'You have no right to talk to me like that" she shouted,

"You are nothing but a nuisance," he said then Emily laughed as Emily got angrier and angrier.

"I will deal with you guys later," she said then walked away.

"Nicely done, she deserved it" Nin's sister said and Amias smiled then the girl left staring at him.

'Woah he is.. handsome" she said to herself then swallowed deeply and turned away.

"Princess" she heard someone calling out in her subconscious.

"Mind, my dear wake up," her mother said as she tapped the girl on her face then Amias's eyes started glowing gold and she regained consciousness.

'What happened?" her father asked,

'N... nothing I am fine, I just need to lay down a little" she responded,

"What's with the bruises on your back Minda?" her father asked as she looked nervous then got up and was about to walk away.

"Minda" her father shouted then she jumped in fear.

"Dad I just feel that's all," she said then her mother sighed,

'What is it that you are hiding from us Minda?" her mother asked and she swallowed deeply as Amias looked at her.

Minda inhaled and exhaled then looked at her parents.

'I am hiding nothing, everyone has their personal lives, please stop asking me questions" she said then walked away and Amias went after her.

The princess went into her room and the boy went in after her then locked the door and Emily saw but ignored it.

"I have a meeting to attend I will be back later," the king said as he walked away and the queen went to her study room.

"What happened?" Amias asked,

'Nothing happened" she responded,

"You are lying," he said and she sat on the bed.

"I keep having nightmares, like really bad ones ever, since the night of the full moon when I saw those eyes," she said as her hands trembled.

'My eyes" he said to himself.

'Describe the eyes princess" he said then she looked at him and he smiled,

"He is a little too pretty for his own good, damn," she said to herself as she closed her eyes.

"His eyes were golden in color and glowed brightly, but also felt really dark," she said and he smiled wickedly.

'Was it a werewolf?" he asked,

'I don't know what that is" she responded with a sigh as she laid back on the bed and he looked at the bruises on her back.

"I hate most humans but you, you are weird and hard for me to understand," he said to himself.

"Aren't you going to apply something on those bruises?" he asked,

"Yeah i will and when i am finished we will leave for the village upon the hills" she responded,

'Okay your highness" he said as she stared at him,

'What's wrong?" he asked,

'You are weird" she responded then he gasped and folded his cuffs,

'If you were not the princess I would have slapped you silly girl" he replied then walked out of the room and she laughed but he heard her.

'She gets me on my nerves" he said to himself.

Minda then got off of the bed and opened up her top but she could not reach to apply the ointment on her back.

'I can't reach" she said and he heard her for he was standing right outside.

Amias walked into the room and left staring at the girl from behind.

Minda then looked in the mirror and saw him staring, she then turned around and moved away from the mirror.

'Knock before entering idiot" she said as he walked up to her and she stepped back until he braced her against the wall.

"Need some help?" he asked and she swallowed deeply as she stared into his eyes.

"I can do it myself," she said as she turned her gaze away from him then he smiled wickedly as he placed his hand on her arm and turned her around.

Amias closed his eyes and placed his hand out.

'Place some of the ointment in my hand" he said and so she did as she saw his eyes were close.

'I see he closed his eyes" she said to herself as he placed his soft yet cold hand on her back and she smiled as he applied the ointment.
