She was excited, very excited. The one thing she was confused about, though, was her race. She thought to herself, 'Demon? Since when? I've never heard of any demons before...'

While she was lost in thought, she felt... something. It was strange, through the mirage of light, she began to notice her eyes felt a little different. Not only that, but she began to feel something poking out from where her tailbone was.

Before she could react, a demonic tail grew out from her body and made itself known. Her excitement from awakening was still very much coursing through her body, and now that she had just grown a tail, it was uncontrollably wagging.

She looked at Gale, and he was... different. Just like her. However, instead of growing a tail, wings, anything, he took on looks that made it seem like an angel had descended from the heavens. Most of his brown hair had shifted colors. It was now a beautiful shimmering silver, with little tufts that had refused to change. But those little brown tufts only complimented his looks.

Looking back at gale, she was entrapped by his charm. Gale, staring back, was practically entranced by hers. The already beautiful Ishtar had just gotten hotter. She saw how she now had little fangs, her emerald eyes now resembled that of a snake, and she grew a tail.

Her tail was wagging excitedly, seemingly out of her control. Dragging his eyes forcefully from the heart shaped end of it, he shifted his gaze back to her. It was very noticeable how she had changed. As his gaze slid all over her, he could have sworn she became even more perfectly toned than before.

His eyes moving over her curves, saw how her skin had become immensely fair and without blemishes. He knew she already didn't have to wear makeup because of her looks before this little transformation... but now? Makeup would only make her look worse.

Ishtar felt gale's powerful gaze trail all over her body. With his new look, it made her heart pound in her chest. Her cheeks were a little flushed as she looked at him all over, she could see he went through a transformation like her- and it made him hotter than he already was to her.

Breaking out of her little mental tangent, she didn't want to snap Gale out of his because it felt nice... but she also really wanted to try out her new powers. Sparing no time, as they had already paid for the food, they race out the door.

Scrambling their way to the car, Ishtar got into shotgun while Gale took the wheel. He was aiming to get them both a registered hunter's license. The drive was very chaotic though, with Ishtar's cute excitement, and Gale's attempt at collecting his thoughts.

Her tail was wagging so fast it smacked into Gale every 3 seconds or so, "Are we there yet?"

Shaking his head at her, he said, "Nope, now stop smacking me with your tail! It hurts!"

Ishtar pouts a little, her new limb drooping a little with her. Gale, seeing this, felt the urge to tug on her tail a little. Looking back at the road, he drove them to the hunter's association while Ishtar impatiently bounced her leg.

As soon as they were parked, Ishtar jumped out of her seat and sped towards the building. It was quite empty, with it being midnight and all. There was one half-asleep receptionist that looked up drowsily when he saw the duo enter.

Sighing to himself, he stood up, adjusted his glasses, and said, "Welcome to the hunter's association, how may I help you?"

Ishtar leaped over to the counter, bouncing with excitement like a child. The more mature Gale came over and as calm as he could, and said, "I'd like to register the two of us as hunters, please."

The receptionist spoke as if he had gone through this situation thousands of times. He simply started clicking around on a computer, then he pulled up a small touch screen monitor and said, "Whoever is registering first, please place your hand here."

Gale began to reach down as he was the closest to the pad, but Ishtar pushed her way through his arm and pressed her hand into the screen. Gale shook his head and sighed, as Ishtar looked back and said, "Too slow, heh"

As she smirked at him, the device scanned her hand and created a profile in the hunter database. It filled out most of the paperwork automatically and left only the parts that needed to be signed. A printer on the desk printed the documents.

The receptionist waited quietly for the papers to print. Once they were finished, he picked them up and said, "Finally, you must sign this."

Ishtar snatched the paper away and instantly signed it. The receptionist then said, "Congratulations on awakening and becoming a hunter, I will call for someone to test on your abilities shortly after I finish registering your friend over here."

Gale went through the same process as Ishtar did, he signed the papers, and the receptionist dialed a number on a phone connected to the desk. He had a little chat with someone, and he told them he had 2 newly awakened people who just registered and needed to be tested.

Even though they could only hear one side of the conversation, both Gale and Ishtar could just tell the person getting called over to help was not happy. With a little thought, the both of them could pin the thought on the fact that they arrived past midnight. Not a very nice time to work.

The receptionist hung up the phone, then said, "While we wait for the examiner to arrive, I can show you the way to the training room so you can experiment with your powers a bit... I can see you wanted to do that anyways"

The receptionist began to walk towards a decently large hallway, then he said, "Follow me."
