Five Months

Five Months later...

In the main hall of the Devilry Pagoda, the main Palace for the queen, Zanilia sat on the throne looking at the new dove she caught.

Her figure looked enchanting, exuding an aura of seductiveness that made all the young devil guards captivated.

"Zanilia"

She looked up and saw her best friend, Zenos at the front of her throne, looking at her warmly.

She smiled at him, and a faint blush spread from the tip of his ears to his cheeks. He felt that she looked too beautiful with her smile.

"Zenos. How are you? Why are you here?" she asked him.

"I wanted to report to you that Liam and some other Shadow guards tried to rebel but they have been caught." Zenos said, a serious look on his face.

Shadow guards rebelling was never a good thing. The Shadow guards of the Devil Realm had went through rigorous tests to ensure great loyalty, especially in this case.

Liam was one of the oldest Shadow guards of the Devil Realm, having been serving for over a thousand years.

He was a very loyal guard and he suspected that there was more to meet the eye in this matter.

Zanilia's face went cold upon hearing the news.

When had the Shadow guards obtained so much guts they dared to rebel?

It seems like she was too gentle in her methods. Her eyes narrowed at the thought.

She looked at Zenos. "I want you to investigate this matter. And also send someone to bring Liam here. I want to play some 'games' with him" She said, a cruel smile on her lips.

Zenos looked at her smile and shivered. Someone named Liam was in trouble.

Liam was brought to Zanilia as she had instructed, and he was kneeling at the front of the throne.

Zanilia looked down from the High platform her throne was placed on.

Bloodlust flitted across her eyes, looking at Liam as though he was a dead man.

"You were the one who dared to lead the Shadow guards to rebel?"

Liam looked at her defiantly, not believing this nineteen years old Devil Queen will kill him.

"Yes I did. So what?"

Zanilia smiled at his answer. She had intended to interrogate him to get some answers, but it seems like he did not know his place.

A blast of dark red energy blasted across the room and hit Liam in his forehead.

Blood trailed down his mouth, his face turned pale white.

A screen like image appeared at the front of his head. All information stored in his head was displayed in red characters.

Zanilia smiled lightly at what was displayed. This was getting interesting....
