Chapter 14: Concept of Perfection

The Landlady and Lailah appeared on Egypt, staring at a certain pyramid with furrowed brows.

Waving her hand, the Landlady created a blast of Latent Force, however the blast simply passed through the pyramid and caused a powerful explosion.

"As expected..." Landlady sighed.

"What happened lady Da'ath?" Lailah asked, "Is that pyramid an illusion?"

The landlady shook her head, "No, that pyramid is definitely real. However, it is no longer in this "dimension" so to speak, it has been "separated" from this "reality" and can no longer affect our plane, nor can we affect it. Only someone at the level of that Demon King will be able to bypass this."

Lailah raises an eyebrow, before looking at the direction of Japan, "S-Should I call him? I might be able to convince him to help us a bit, he might not care for people's lives that aren't related to him, but he also won't just sit back when the world itself might be in danger."

Landlady pondered her words for a few moments before shaking her head, "No need. Let me handle it."

"Are you sure?" Lailah looked at her, "I thought you said that—"

"Only someone at the level of that demon king can bypass this and enter that place that was separated from reality. Though I might not be as powerful as him, I can still do it."

Lailah looked at her for a moment before nodding as she retreated a good few miles away. If she get even nearer, she'd probably die from the pressure that Landlady will emit once she released her power.

The Sephira of Da'ath smiled as she released a flickering purple aura. It was small at first, but it suddenly got brighter that Lailah was forced to closed her eyes.

-----

Alex along with his generals who was climbing the stairs suddenly paused and look at the direction of where Lailah and the Landlady are.

He grinned, 'That old hag is really powerful.' He narrowed his eyes as his gaze reached the place where the landlady and Lailah was.

'Lailah's there too, damn, the landlady was releasing a powerful energy I couldn't even sense her.'

He looked at the landlady for a moment before taking back his gaze.

"Let's go." He said as he continued his walk, with others following behind him.

------

Sandalphon froze, her expression is that of fear and despair as she recalled the "massacre" that happened thousands of years ago, the massacre that caused their race to nearly go extinct.

"Fuuuck!" She cursed and smashed her keyboards before looking at the direction where she felt that power, "Who's the idiot that angered that old monster!?"

------

Yesod, who was resting on the Moon furrowed his brows and looked towards Earth.

'Da'ath finally started to move. This is bad, I thought she had gotten weaker after she went insane from taking a peek in the 'beyond', but isn't she as strong as before!?'

He sighed and looked at his sword made by Da'ath herself, "No matter, I shall follow up my plans. I can't back down now."

------

All over the world, those who are powerful enough felt the power that the landlady was releasing and they couldn't help but shudder in fear.

Lailah, who was the closest to the landlady could barely breath from pressure.

Then, within an instant, the light vanished along with the pressure released by the landlady.

Gasp! Lailah immediately gasp for breath. 'Holy shit you fucking old hag! Learn to control yourself will you!? I almost fucking died!'

She rubbed her eyes and stared at the landlady, and her eyes widened in shock.

What she saw was no longer obese purple haired woman with thick make up, but an otherworldly beautiful woman. She has long purple hair and red eyes, and wears a full-body outfit that highlights her curvaceous body.

She radiated the aura of a queen, looking down on the world. Her soft and smooth white skin would put even the moon to shame, even a slight flutter of her eyelashes is enough to turn on any man.

'Holy crap! That old hag is actually this beautiful! Fuck! I'm so jealous!' Lailah pouted in jealousy seeing the landlady's new appearance.

Though she shouldn't be surprised. Da'ath, the Sephira of Knowledge, the "reflection of infinity", and "corresponds to the image of God embedded in humanity", she is a "Perfection" personified.

Da'ath slowly descended down to the pyramid, her very presence was cleansing the surrounding areas and make them "pure".

As her feet touched the sand, it turned into grasslands with flowers. She slowly walked towards the pyramid, and right when Lailah thought that she would pass through, Da'ath actually managed to touch the pyramid.

Da'ath smiled. "Concept of Perfection", a conceptual ability that allows her to be "absolutely above everything" and "completely distinct from the rest of fallen being".

It doesn't matter that this pyramid has been separated from reality, for she exist above such things little things as reality.

Of course, this concept is only limited if she is in this solar system that is a part of this world's Sephirot. Leaving the solar system will drastically weaken her, not to mention her powers are being suppressed by the Sephirot.

It was also because of this that she would lose if she fought Alexander even though they are equal in power in this state. Not only that, Alexander's "Absolute Severance" will be able to kill her by cutting her "existence".

With a thought, Da'ath entered the pyramid.

------

Alex and his generals finally arrived at the top of the mountain where a temple can be seen. And outside the temple, were a group of people who are quite strong by ordinary people's standards.

He saw a group of Oni from Yoinozaka clan, one of the Hexagram, and some Fox Youkais from Tonko clan, also from the Hexagram.

There are also Exorcist from Gotei 13, also from the Hexagram, and the last group of people are wearing black suits and shades, probably from Ashigaru, also one of the Hexagram.

Seeing their arrival, The Tenko, Yoinozaka, and Ashigaru flared up their Spirit Power, trying to pressure them.

The only one who didn't do anything are from the Gotei 13 led by Shinsui Kyoraku, the probably most laid back captain of Gotei 13. They just smiled at the other Hexagram, knowing how powerful the Demon King and his Generals are.

Alex just smiled, shrugging off their spirit power like it was a cool breeze and continue to walk towards the temple, not minding the group who are trying to scare them off.

But it's not the same for his generals though. They were pissed. Especially Alsiel.

He was so mad that these "insects" tried to threaten his king that he went to his demon form as his dark green demonic force engulfed the entire place.

The Tenko, Yoinozaka, and Ashigaru all stared at Alsiel who was floating a few feet above ground. Those who are weaker fell unconscious with their eyes rolling back and foams on their mouth.

The others who resisted the pressure fell down on their knees and were struggling to breath. The only ones who were spared are the Gotei 13, who are just snickering to themselves.

"You lowly insects!" Alsiel roared as his eyes released a terrifying glint, "How dare you disrespect my king!"

He raised his hand as green orb of pure demonic power gathered on his palm, "Your punishment shall be death!"

"Alsiel!" Alex called out as he looked over his shoulder, staring straight at his eyes, "That's enough."

Ashiya stared at his king for a few seconds before going back to the ground, the orb on his hand disappearing as he returned to his human form.

Alex gave him a nod before he walked towards the entrance of the temple followed by his generals.

However, before they could enter, two beings suddenly appeared on the entrance and stop them.

One of them is a male muscular creature with red skin and sharp tooth wearing only a cloth that covers his waist, and has a long white hair.

The other is also a male muscular creature with blue skin that has a long black hair and beard, he was wearing a samurai armor and sitting on what seem to be a cloud.

"Greetings Demon King," said the red creature, "I am Raijin, the God of Thunder."

"And I am Fujin, the God of Wind," said the blue creature, "We would like to inform you that only you can enter the place, and your generals need to remain here."

"What did you say!?" Ashiya exclaimed as he glared at the brother gods, "You want us to stay here while our king will go inside that place!? How p—"

"Alright," Alex nodded.

"My liege!?" Ashiya stared at his king in shock.

Alex looked at them, "You guys stay here. I'll go alone."

"But—" Ashiya wanted to say more but Nonko put an arm around his shoulder as she gave Alex a grin.

"It's fine Ashiya-chan~, I'm sure Alex-chan can handle himself~"

"Nonko!?"

"Geez, just chill dude." Said Genshiro as he patted Ashiya on the shoulder, "Let's just follow Boss' orders."

"...Fine." Ashiya nodded.

Alex smiled, "Good, I'll be going now."

With that, Alex went inside the temple while generals remained outside, glaring at the other Hexagram who all scooted away from them.
