Early Life of Crown Prince

Lucidus was very happy with fidelis 's family so the King and the Queen was not so worried about him and focused on ruling the Empire . Like this years passed and Lucidus is now 19 years old . He grew up to be a very handsome boy with muscular body , tall height and sharp elegant features . When Lucidus was a child the King used to play with him daily and taught him personally and now when he is now all grown up he took Lucidus with him outside the Palace around the Capital city disguised as commoners and showed him how the common people outside the Palace lives and this way the King guided him how to rule as a great and humble King for the public and how to think about their Empire's people before themselves .

Fidelis would also teach him and Virtus martial arts , Sword fighting , Arrow shooting and much more fighting techniques and trained them to be toughest war soldiers .

Lucidus also went to Imperial Court with his father and shared his point of on the problems of the Empire and also gave suggestions on how they can make their Empire better for the people . All the Ministers , Governers and Advisors were impressed by how wise , talented and strong the Crown Prince was and expected him to be a Great King like his father .

But this was only the bright side of the Crown Prince's life . Lucidus still got those attacks in which his eyes turned red and became aggressive , he completely loose control of his body and mind and harmed everyone around him .

Soon rumours started to spread around the Empire that the Crown Prince is possessed and many other ridiculous rumours about him . Though he was sweet , kind and humble since birth but whenever he tried to become friends with anyone they ran away . Because of change in his state suddenly people were afraid of him and avoided to go near him and gossiped about him . Every kid refused to play with him except his best friend Virtus he always stayed by his side and played with him and protected him from the kids who gossiped about him . Virtus was the son of Fidelis . He was born in the same year before the birth of Lucidus . They grew up together , Queen Refulgens and Ruby were friends and so were the King and Fidelis so they loved virtus as their own son and Lucidus was also not born at that time so they showered all of their love at him . Lucidus and Virtus were very close to each other since birth . Lucidus also lived with Fidelis's family and ruby took care of him after the death of her friend Queen Refulgens Lucidus's mother . She loved Lucidus like her own son and he took called her mother and Fidelis his father .

As he grew older he used to cry and get angry listening to the rumours but Ruby and Fidelis consoled him and said him to ignore them and that they love him as he is and he is perfectly normal . The king also punished the people whoever was caught spreading the rumours to end them but they only grew more and more causing Lucidus to distance himself from everyone and enraged him . He allowed only a few servants to serve him . Looking at his Son the King became worried and tried to diverts his attention from the rumours by keeping him busy with him in the matters of the Empire .

One day Lucidus and Virtus went to practice Arrow shooting in the jungle together like usual when they got the news of the death of Ruby . They rushed back to the palace and say her lying dead on her bed with Fidelis standing next to her crying , they looked at him and asked in disbelief '' How father?'' fidelis: '' The imperial Doctor said she died because of heart failure...'' They both went forward towards her and held her hand crying continuously and said

Lucidus: ''Today I lost my mother once again....Why must God be so cruel to me....''

Virtus: '' Mother how can you leave us all alone here....How would we survive without you ...'''

Lucidus: '' Now Who will protect me form this harsh world Mother?''

Fidelis hugged them both and consoled them as three of them kept crying .

Both of the boys did the preparations of their mother's funeral The king also came to her funeral and stood by Fidelis's side as he consoled him and both the boys . In her honor the King himself took part in the burial of Ruby . Both the boys maturely buried their mother as they abide her farewell and stood before her grave grief stricken .

After Ruby's death Lucidus and Virtus were very upset and depressed , looking at hoe heart broken they were the King and Fidelis were worried as they understood how the boys must have felt at the loss of their mother . So Queen Ava decided to take care of Lucidus and Virtus personally as taking care of Lucidus is her responsibilty but Lucidus was not so close to her as he did not spend much time with her and so does Virtus he was also not close to her . BUt she tried her best to console them and make them feel better and comfortable with her . Queen Ava also started cooking food for Lucidus personally because of his condition it was ordered by Queen Refulgens to take care of whatever Lucidus ate and cooked personally for him and do did ruby she also cooked personally for him so Queen Ava also personally took care of Lucidus's diet .
