The Devil King's Host

"Listen very carefully, kid. Don't think I'm your assistant just because you are my host. I'm the strongest and cruelest being. I am the devil king. I won't save you on the contrary, just like everyone else, I want you dead. After all, I'm the reason they want you dead." Sheon's harsh words rang in Henry's mind. He wanted to make sure the human was clear about their relationship. "Hey, Mr. Devil King...What do you think your role is?" Henry suddenly asked, unfazed by Sheon's threat. "You know the answer. In human terms ' I'm the big boss' " Sheon replied, a hint of pride in his tone. "You're wrong, very wrong." "Hm? Enlighten me." The Curious Sheon said. "You might have been the king in your world, but here, you're locked up in my body, you're just a prisoner. A tool for me to use, and with your powers, I'll survive and get back at everyone who looked down on me. I will live the way I want and with my own rules." Henry's confidence and arrogance made Sheon laugh. "You're quite funny kid, and how do you think you're going to do that? There's no way I'll lend you my powers." "Does it sound like I'm asking? I'm taking it. Since you're in my body, your powers should be within my reach somehow. I'll find out how to use them, no matter how long it takes. And when I finally do, I will make it mine. All of it." Henry said with a firm tone. "You thrill me, kid, let me see how you manage to pull that off, entertain me." "Sure, just sit back and watch me," Henry replies. †**********† Sheon, the strongest devil was banished from hell and into the human world after he lost unfairly in a battle against the king of hell, Azrael. Family or enemies

"That won't be necessary, I thank you for you concern and like I said, I already am used to this place and I have people I have bounded with." Henry said. It's not like he didn't want to escape, but he couldn't trust a couple of kids, with insincerity in their eyes.

And to make things worst, they are the children of the man who put him there, who knows? It might all be a test to see if he has any intention of leaving the place, but he was sure that if it was indeed a test, his answer wasn't going to be enough. It was just the beginning and he probably passed the first question.

"Ok then, as for my second question, how good are you with the swords?" Raphael continued

"You mean swordsmanship?" Henry wanted to confirm the question because when it comes to the use of swords his teacher always gave him the negative comment telling him how much he sucked.

'Come to think of it, none of my teachers ever complemented me that I have done a good job in their class or subject.' Henry remembers.

"Yes, swordsmanship, how much have you mastered swordsmanship." Raphael continued his question with a serious expression.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm no good with the swords, although I know the basics and probably some low ranked stances but nothing more than that. I keep finding it difficult to learn mid ranked stances talk more of high ranks. Plus my teacher always says that I'm 'the worst of the worst of the worst'. " Henry quoted with a bitter smile.

'Figures, he has no magic after all.' Raphael thought.

"Do you want your big brother to teach you?" Raphael suddenly asked

"I would love that, but wouldn't that be troublesome to you, I must say, I'm a very frustrating student, it takes me time to learn." Henry repliex

"Why would that b troublesome? You're my brother, we are family." Henry could see the glint in his eyes, he lacked sincerity in his words.

Honestly, he had never seen sincerity in the eyes of anyone he was dealing with, except Augustina, the woman in charge of his experiments and some of the staffs there, but their sincerity always laid in their pitiful words.

"Thanks a lot brother." He said with a forced smile which Raphael picked up and smirked.

"Ah... before I train you, I would like to see what you are capable of. Let's go to the training ground and spar." Raphael offered.

'So that's what he's after, to know how good I am in combat ' Henry thought.

"Sure, but I must plead with you go easy on me."

"I Definitely will," Raphael replied and at this moment, Riley was feeling left out of the whole conversation, she couldn't bare it so she had to say her mind.

"Hey, you both are leaving me out of the conversation!" She pouted.

"Oh, sorry big sister. I guess you will have to watch and spectate our match, then judge the results" Henry suggested.

"That's no fun, but ok, I will do that. Let's go!" She says in excitement.

"I will lead the way." Henry stands up and starts leading them to the training ground.

Behind him, his two siblings stared at each other. They knew how to cast telepathic spell, so the were speaking to each other mentally.

'Hey I thought you said you poisoned the cupcake.' Raphael asked Riley

'Yes, I did, I definitely did.' Riley answered

'You sure you didn't add sweetener to it thinking it was poison? He seemed like he enjoyed it. Besides how long does it take effect."

'At most twenty seconds, but he's completely fine even after more than five minutes.' Riley answered.

'So what do you suspect?' Raphael asked.

'The devil. I suspect the devil inside of him, maybe he surpressed the poison because he didn't like my method.' Riley said

'That's a good theory, but it's highly unlikely. The devil wants him to loose his will to live so why would he help him?' Raphael reasons

'He's a devil. Why did we choose to believe the words of the devil? He's literally the king of lies.' Riley says, a hint of frustration in her voice.

'He wouldn't be lying. What would he gain from lying to us. You should know that the devil is also selfish, he wouldn't waste his time lying to us just for fun. He's probably stuck inside Henry and needs us to get him out.'

'Stuck? The devil stuck?' Riley said trying to point out the nonsense on the sentence.

"Yh, it doesn't make sense to me either. Well, it's just a theory after all'

'Yh, it doesn't make sense even as a theory. He just didn't like my method.' Riley said firmly.

'Sigh... Riley, I highly doubt that the devil has anything to do with this, it's either you made a mistake or for some reason, it was nullified. If it turns out to be the devil's doing, then your guess is probably right, he might not like your poisoning method.' Raphael said

'How are we supposed to find out if the devil is involved or not, besides... Those eyes..'

'Yh, they are the same eyes grandma had. The powerless purple eyes.' Raphael said. They didn't actually see his eyes as a child, what they had seen them was a glowing scarlet red eyes.

'I don't know what to think about him, he's attitude is already pissing me off.' Riley said

'I kind of like him already.' Raphael smirked.

'why wouldn't you? He's exactly like you.' Riley barked.

'except that he's more dangerous' Raphael sounded very serious.

'You mean the devil?' That was the only thing Riley could think of that could make Henry more dangerous than Raphael.

'No, I mean... aargh, just forget it, you're too dumb to understand, it's probably useless trying to explain to you.' Raphael said.

'Get the fuck out of my head now!' Riley said annoyed.

'Hehe." Raphael laughed inwardly as he stopped the telepathy magic.

The result were satisfactory for Raphael, whenever he mistakenly spills an information that he doesn't want to tell Riley during their conversation, he takes advantage of her anger issues to change the topic. He couldn't tell her exactly how dangerous he sensed Henry was, even without the devil, she can become a potential enemy in the future, so he has to keep that part of information to himself.

'I wish we actually met as real brothers in a different family. Too bad we're going to be against each other. I know that you're going to be a tough nut to crack, so I look forward to our engagement in the future.' Raphael thought as he looked at Henry, hiding every little bloodlust so as not to release it unintentionally.
