I sat in my room waiting to hear the commands of the Emperor, but he did not come nor did he see any guard in the harem. It seemed like our plan did not work.

I got up from my bed and opened the window. There was no sight of queen Valeria, she was still with the Emperor. I wondered what they were doing alone. What was taking her so long?

"I can't sit down here and do nothing" Queen Vida was running out of patience. She stood up and started pacing around the room. 

"We should go to the king and tell him to search grandmother"s room because the necklace is there. We put it there" Queen Alissa poured wine into the cup and drank it. She was sitting like a pregnant woman. 

"If you eat that much every day, we won't have any food by next week," Queen Vida told her.
