174 The Emperor Is Back..

I spoke but it seemed my voice was loud enough for her to hear me. When I tried to sit up, my body ached the more. I felt like someone has pressed my chest with bags of sand for a long time. My heart burns.

"Mother" I said, with tears rolling out of my eyes. I did not planned to cry. It's just happened. Without my permission. No response.

I moved my right hand towards the jug on the table beside me and it went down the floor with loud sound. Mother jerked from her sleep like a thief has entered the room. I didn't want to wake her up like but life left me no choice.

She paced around the room before realizing that the jug fell from the table beside me. "Ariadne?"

"Mother" I answered, trying my best to put on a smile.
