I watched the prince drank from the cup. For some reason, I did not want to get drunk in the party. When the maid came by, I told her not to serve him any ale again. It was an order. If anything goes wrong, the emperor would blame me.

"You don't want him to enjoy the party?" Anne asked me.

"It is not like that. Queen Ariadne meant no harm. He is the crown prince" Queen Alissa explained. "It would not right if he get drunk in front of the guests. Nobody wants a drunkard to lead them."

I laughed at her joke. But she was right. There was going to be a family party tomorrow before the couple leaves. He can get drunk if he wants.
