"Are you sure it is beating? Queen Aslaug asked, staring at the boys. They were not saying anything. She took Prince Edward's hand away and placed her head on the emperor's chest. When she heard the racing of his heart, a smile appeared on her face.

However, the smile did not last. She started crying. The sudden change in her facial expression surprised her children.
