Luca danced like it was her last day on Earth. She moved with the music like a puppet on strings, banging her head so hard her brain was in shut mode. This was what she was looking for tonight, good energy that would flow into her veins and make her synapses jump like beans in a tin.

She danced to every beat of the music until her skin was covered with sweats and not all were hers. Yet, the music continued on and on like a drug that brought her higher and higher until her heart was filled with pure joy. Everyone was dancing, hyped up, and seeking to have a good time, just like her.

"Nova! Can you hear me?" she screamed and looked around the crowd, searching for her maid of honor, and said louder. "Because I can't hear myself! Haha!"

Luca swayed while chuckling mischievously, looking like a witch in a white bridal dress with horrendous heavy makeup. No one criticized her horrific theme, though. Or rather, she was too intoxicated to notice the deprecating looks cast upon the woman in a bridal dress who appeared to be someone whose groom ditched her on their wedding day and now dancing like a crazy person in a nightclub to forget her woes.

If only they knew her groom was here: HER.

"But to heck with it! Woohoo!" she yelled with her fist up, whistling as the bass made her heart pound. "I might get in trouble tomorrow, but fuck it!"

Her feet moved to the crazy beat like she was one with the music, living the time of her life. The night was still so young and her limbs still had so much energy she could dance the night away.

Little did she know, from the second floor, the VVIP section of the nightclub, a man with a towering stature of no less than six feet tall, stood behind the tinted glass and was observing the dance floor. His silver eyes fastened with amusement, watching a woman among the sea of crowds in a luminous white bridal dress who shine so bright her skin seemed to glow.

She was dancing like there was no one looking, or maybe she just didn't care.

"I'm intrigued." His baritone voice was low and dangerous, and for the briefest moment, his silver eyes turned red. He was swirling the glass of wine until the red liquid coated the transparent glass before guiding it to his lips to empty it.

"Did her groom jilt her at the altar? Or was it a runaway bride?" he wondered as he put down the empty wineglass on the table, slipped his hand into his pocket, and sauntered off. His steps didn't falter at the drops of blood on the floor, grinning wider than the golden gates.

'Let's find out.'

The man weaved through the ladies and gentlemen, slipping through the crowd, a beeline in the bar. He reached his hand out, grabbed Luca's wrist, and spun her around. When the strobe light flashed on them, his lips stretched from ear to ear as his inquisitive pair of silver eyes met her limpid hazel ones.

"I'm in dire need of a bride," he remarked without raising his voice despite the heart-pounding music, but she somehow heard him loud and clear. "Let's get married."
