"With you current condition where you are not even holding any power in your family and doing some odd job in disguises, what can you offer me?" 

''Whatever your intentions are... thank you,'' Daisy said sincerely. If not for him, no matter what, she would have been in a pickle if Ryle discovered the situation. 

''Then, I'll take my leave now. I don't think my men will be able to hold Harper's people for a long time. It won't be good for you if we get spotted together,'' As Lu Xian got up and turned to leave, he paused near the door. 

''But truth to be told, this is not first time I am meeting you.''
