CHAPTER 45 : THE SLOW IV DROPS

Alexander slept through the entire night before waking up at five in the morning. He slowly opened his eyes, beeps of the vitals monitor catching his attention.

He was immediately reminded of the accident, car crash and lastly Eleanora. He instantly turned to his left, grunting a little in the process before watching Anastasia and Evander sleeping uncomfortably on the sofa.

Alexander panicked, his forehead covered in sweat as he turned to his right, watching another bed and then a female lying on it, his heartbeat returning to normal.

He tried extending his arm towards her, only to inhale sharply from the sudden pain.

"Brother." Evander called out in a low voice.

Alexander turned slowly towards his brother, who was shifting Anastasia to a better position before walking towards him.
