CHAPTER 24 : ALEX IS GIFTED

"No. Why?" Eleanora replied cluelessly.

"The cake with-"

"Oh no!" Eleanora exclaimed loudly, her expression that of shock.

"Care to lower your voice and explain a little?" Alexander asked when Eleanora didn't say anything further.

"Ethan, my fiance knows about my kidnapping. I was speaking with him on phone when they adbucted me. He must be searching for me." Eleanora explained patiently.

Initially she had been skeptical about letting Alexander anywhere near her. But in situations like this, it was best to keep her family out of scenario. If Ethan wasn't involved, she wouldn't have given it much of a thought.

"Call him and talk to him normally." Alexander suggested after a few moments.

"I don't have my phone." Eleanora replied.

"Here." Alexander unlocked his phone before giving it to her.
