13 13. Your love is attending me

CHAPTER 13 : YOUR LOVE IS ATTENDING ME

"Keep it." Alexander said while still looking at his phone.

Eleanora wanted to reject but the way she had seen that angry Alexander, she knew this wasn't the best time to reject him. 

She stood up from the sofa, setting things on the bedside table she was given recently.

Rest of the evening went uneventfully as both Eleanora and Alexander didn't exchange another word.

Eleanora checked upon him one more time before she received a call. She looked at the caller ID, pausing for a moment before finally accepting it.

"Elliee! That bastard has imprisoned you, right? Tell him to let me in. I won't spare him today! He can not-" Ethan was still speaking when Eleanora cut him off.

"Eth, cool down. Where are you?" Eleanora asked calmly.

"How can I? His men are blocking me from entering. I will smash his face Ellie, just wait for me to get inside and free you." Ethan sounded so angry that even Eleanora was scared for a moment.

"Eth, go back." Eleanora said in a low voice, knowing that with Ethan, the situation would only worsen.

"No I can't! I am never ever going back without you! Come out, we will go back together." Ethan said.

"Eth, I can not come out now. Please go back." Eleanora was almost begging him but to no avail.

"I am not leaving without you. I'll keep standing here till you come and see me!" Ethan said, almost on the verge of breaking down.

"Eth, please understand-"

"I am not listening to any excuses Ellie! If it is you, I will keep standing right here, even if I have to wait till eternity." Ethan said, his confession making Eleanora break down.

She ended the call before walking towards Alexander's bed, who was sleeping for the past half hour.

"Alexander." Eleanora called him in low voice but he seemed to be in a deep sleep.

'Maybe I'll go visit Ethan and come back quickly. I can not make Ethan to stand there forever. Also it would be even better if I manage to convince him and send him back home.' And with that thought, Eleanora stepped out of the VIP room.

She took quick steps through the empty hallway before reaching the turn where Tyler along with ten more men were blcking the exit.

She walked towards them, finally spotting Ethan behind.

"Elliee!" Ethan called out as soon as he saw Eleanora coming his way as all the guards immediately stood between them.

"Let him in." Eleanora said to Tyler.

"Sorry, Dr. Rosenheim, this is out of my authority." Tyler answered politely.

"Then do you think imprisoning people is your authority?" Ethan barked at Tyler to which Tyler only gave an apologetic look.

"Ethan, look I am fine. Now go back home, and tell dad and mom to relax as well. I will come back home once I am done with this patient. Please go back." Eleanora said as she didn't wanted to create anymore scenario.

"No Ellie! How can I leave you alone, love? We are going back together, right now!" Ethan said, making Eleanora even more worried.

"Your love is attending me at the moment." Suddenly Alexander was standing behind Eleanora, as she froze on her spot.

'When did he arrive?' Eleanora thought fearfully as a bead of sweat rolled down her spine.

'Let the fun begin.' Alexander thought as a smirk played on his face.

"Don't go overboard. Release her or else I'll make sure you regret troubling her." Ethan said, trying to play it cool.

"Eth-" Eleanora was interupting, trying to lessen the conversation between Alexander and Ethan when Alexander spoke up.

"Unfortunately I don't carry a regret bag around like you. I have confidence in my choices." Alexander said while a faint smile could be seen on his face.

'Boss is capable of speaking so many words at the same time! Or am I hallucinating? No no.. boss actually spoke more than one statement! I must break this news to my elder madam soon!' Tyler thought from the sidelines.

'What is he trying to do?? God, if I die from this sudden shock today, I won't blame you, Promise.' Eleanora thought, knowing Alexander was repeating her statement from moments ago.

"Let her go." Ethan said, running out of patience.

"Leave or else my men are more than capable of throwing people out- '' Alexander was speaking when Eleanora interrupted.

"Enough!! One more word against my fiance and I am leaving! I don't care if you are holding the chairman's family hostage or chairman himself! I am leaving!" Eleanora shouted at the top of her voice.

"Try me." Alexander said, taking another step as he stood exactly behind Eleanora, almost whispering in her ear.

Eleanora gritted her teeth, as she remembered a similar instance in the past. 

Ethan had argued with Alexander to release Eleanora in the middle of the road. 

Alexander's men had simply injured Ethan while Alexander had pushed Eleanora in the front passenger seat, scaring her infinitely. He had raced his car all the way amongst Eleanora's shouts and pleadings and finally stopped at one of his farmhouses.

He had thrown Eleanora on his shoulders before making his way upstairs, ultimately throwing her on the bed.

Eleanora closed her ears and shut her eyes tight, before kneeling on the ground, trying hard to erase the visuals from her past.

"Ellie! Ellie are you alright? Ellie, look at me!" Ethan shouted after watching Eleanora suddenly kneel on the floor.

Even Alexander was looking at Eleanora with a plain expression, though something changed in his eyes.

'Alex please… please don't do.. do this… I apologize for Ethan.. please.. I beg.. beg you.. Alex! No… no don't… please.. I-' the voice and images from her past were flooding her brain.

"No!! Stop it!! Please stop it Alex!!" Eleanora shouted loudly, shocking everyone as the corridor went completely silent.

Alexander stood confused on his spot, looking below at Eleanora who had knelt down and was now shouting his name.
