Death and reincarnation...

In the darkest of voids there one could find the soul of a 20 year old man. Before he died he was a genius that was known all across the country of Japan. He had just graduated from university. You might think that it's impossible at the age of 20 but he skipped a few grades in middle school.

Although this man may seem perfect to you. He wasn't... In fact he was a hardcore otaku who's favorite anime was black clover. I know what you are thinking you can't be an otaku if you have to studie for school. Well that's the thing, he had never studied a day in his life. That's just how good his memory was. He could remember every single day of his life all the way back to when he was three. He was despised by other people of his age because of this, and he had been bullied by jealous people all his life. Which led to a big depression in his childhood.

10 minutes before his death...

Our mc was walking back to his apatment after his graduation. A new episode of black clover had come out and he wanted to watch it as soon as possible. Because he was imagining what the episode was going to be all about he wasn't watching the road. A bright light flashed, it were the headlights of a car (car-chan!!!). Then suddenly he lost all feeling and when he woke up he found himself in this pitch black void.

After looking around for a bit he wondered where he was since he had already figured out that he died. That was until suddenly a bright light appeared as bright as the sun. If he had still had a body he would have definitely turned blind. When the light faded out he could see a young man that appeared to be in his twenties. He spoke to me, his voice as ancient as the earth.

ROB - Hello young child. May I ask what is your name?

Akira - My name is Akira but who are you sir?

ROB - I am but a man wandering this vaste multiverse. But you have peaked my interest no mortal should should be able to survive in the void between realms.

Akira - HUHH!!? Are you saying normally my soul would have been destroyed if it got here!!

ROB - That's exactly what i'm saying. And even now your soul is still as healthy as can be. This is a very rare phenomenon. It is said that a soul that can srvive in the void has the potential to become a transcended being such as myself

Akira - Really? But i'm not that special. I only just graduated and got myself killed. How does someone like that have the potential to transcend?

ROB - Potential isn't so simple my boy. It resides in the deepest depths of your soul. Every time you think you have reached your limits, it is your potential that pushes you past them. When this happens a little of potential is used Until it completly dries up. At that point you will have truly reached your limit and will be unable to get any stronger. Normally humans have very weak potential and thus their souls are destroyed when they die. But you have so much potential That the void itself supports your excistence. It is why you are still not dead.

Alright boy since the void acknowledges you i will also help you. You can ask me any 1 wish and a world of your choice to reincarnate into. I am already giving you a system which will allow you to travel to different worlds and get stronger It also acts as a scanner it will show you your strength level And you can scan other people to know how strong they are. The unit in which strength is measured will depend on the world you are in. Other than this it will also have a storage function but that is all. I won't give you something like a shop or quests with rewards. You can only depend on yourself. Otherwise you will grow up to be weak.

Akira - Truly!! Don't worry about the shop or anything. You are already generous enough! As for my wish and the world let me think for a while... Who am i kidding. Of course I am going to choose to reincarnate as Asta in The black clover world. As for my wish I want my body to generate anti-magic. I always felt off about the fact that asta channels someone elses magic and that he is basically useless without his swords. I mean that literally, if his swords get stolen during a fight he is literally the weakest human on the planet. Anyway I want the full capabilities of the magic without needing a grimmoire. I also want the ability to use anti magic like darkness is used by demons in the seven deadly sins. This includes healing, making constructs like swords or claws. Also since I will be using the magic of the devil directly it means that the more anti-magic i have the more i transform into a demon which will also increase my lifespan. And that's about it.

The darkness consumed me and when i woke up again i was already laying inside a basket in front of a church. Next to me was another baby. He looked calm, unusually calm for a baby. I knew for a fact that that baby was yuno, Asta's childhood friend with whom he grew up in the church. When i saw him i was so excided i started gigling and it was super cute. I definitely hope nobody heard me that would be way to embarassing. But still i had finally come to the world i had longed for in my dreams...
