"Tomorrow — ah, I can't. Weekend is family day," he said, almost like gloating. "I'm going on a vacation with my mom, dad, and little bro. I can't just ditch them just because I want to date you. How about next week?"

"What?" Deep lines appeared between her brows, looking at him suspiciously. "You're going with your family?"

"Yes, don't worry, though. You go on with the music video while I unwind with my family." He shrugged, waving at her dismissively. "They've already packed their things. We're ready to go."
