The Devil's Good Girl

A cheating boyfriend and a traitorous best friend had always been a cliché start to a story. Fil often thought those things only happened in such narratives. Who would have thought this same cliché twist would happen to her? Fil was a devout Christian who held marriage and marital fidelity sacred. She had been a very good girl from childhood to adulthood. But when she caught her childhood sweetheart slash fiancé and her best friend rolling under the sheets, Fil wanted to rebel for the first time. The first step of her rebellious journey? Getting drunk. After drowning her sorrows with the help of alcohol, Fil met the enigmatic Jackson. The moment her eyes met those tantalizing golden orbs, words slipped past her lips without any notion of the kind of situation she was getting herself into: “Will I go to hell if I lose my virginity before marriage?” His thin, red lips curled up as a glint flickered across his naturally sharp eyes, and he said, “Who knows? But I can bring heaven to you if you want me to.” ***** Jackson. A man shrouded in mystery and secrets, licentious to the core with zero morality, someone who had grown bored playing games with life. Until one fateful night, a woman suddenly appeared before him — a perfect prey for a boring night. Little did he know, a night with a rebellious wannabee wouldn’t be enough to quench his biological urge. Nor would he ever fathom the colors she gave to his gray-colored world. A good girl with dirty thoughts and a sinful man who had even dirtier thoughts. A relationship that started for revenge and to satisfy one’s need; was there even space for true love? How? When the man bending her down would nastily whisper in her ear, “You've been a fucking good girl.” **** As the two grapple with their own demons threatening to tear them apart, doubts would start surfacing in their hearts. Was this rebellion worth sacrificing her principles for? Could she truly find happiness in the arms of a man so steeped in darkness? And for Jackson, was redemption possible for a devil like him? And if so, would she be the one to lead him towards the light? Would she even accept his darkest secrets and the hell of his world? In a world where trust was a rare commodity and love was a fragile flame, Fil and Jackson would have to navigate the treacherous waters of desire and redemption. Would they face the unknown together? Or would they let go to save themselves from the impending pain of being together? **** JOIN MY DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/gXCMQwmrGY Spanish translation of this book is also available on Webnovel . On the roof?

"Will I go to hell if I lose my virginity before marriage?"

Fil blinked before her irises went wide, her lips falling. Her already red cheeks slowly turned red, almost choking on her breath upon hearing that question she suddenly blurted out.

"Hah." The beautiful man in front of her let out a chuckle, assessing her from up and down. "Will you go to hell if you lose your virginity before marriage?"

"Haha!" Fil laughed nervously. There goes her hope that he didn't hear her. "Hah… sorry. It must be the drink. Pretend I said nothing."

She cleared her throat and looked down. "Sorry. I'll go." Fil didn't have the gall to look the man in the eye. As she turned around to leave, she shook her head mildly, horror plastered on her face, pounding her fist against her chest.

'I'm worse than a pig,' she told herself, pounding at her chest as she took careful steps away. 'I should be dead. What a nasty thing to say.'

She even forgot why she was in this area of the club in the first place. The shame bubbling in her heart was enough for her to forget about her bladder. As Fil was mumbling to herself, she halted in her tracks as that soothing baritone caressed the back of her ear.

"Want to test it?"

Fil's breath hitched, turning her head slowly, only to see his face over her shoulder. The man smiled brightly until his eyes were squinting.

"What?" she blurted out under her breath. "Test… what?"

"Test to see if you'd go to hell if you lost your virginity before marriage. I mean, it's a strange thing to ask, but I'm intrigued," he explained in a carefree tone. "Though what I'm sure of is that, I can bring you Heaven on a silver platter. If you want me to."

Her lips quivered, eyes wide as they were fixed on the beautiful man smiling at her from ear to ear. Looking at his bright smile, Fil was a bit surprised as his face didn't seem like someone who would say something so bold.

But then again, she was the first to initiate this type of conversation.

"You mean…" she trailed off as she thought of less embarrassing words to say it. "... you want to…?"

"Hmm?" The man raised his brows, fluttering his eyelashes coquettishly. "I want to, what?"

"Want to… you know… with me?"

"Mhm!" he blinked innocently. "More like I'm willing to help."

"Help?"

"Yes!"

"Hah."

"You want to experiment, and I'm willing to participate in that experiment," the man clarified, this time, his smile was softer. "Does that sound less embarrassing?"

Fil's jaw dropped, taken aback at the man's last sentence. "I see." She rocked her head in understanding, relaxing her tensed shoulders as she smiled.

"That's right. I was curious about something," she reasoned, regaining the little confidence she lost. Her lips curled up bitterly, recalling the haunting scene she witnessed a few hours ago. "So, I thought I should experiment to find some answers."

"Jackson." The man, Jackson, offered his hand.

Fil gazed down at his hand and clasped it. Looking up, she smiled and said, "Call me Fil."

"Nice to meet you, Fil." Jackson smiled back, holding her hand and gazing down at it. "You have a cut."

"Huh?"

"Right here." Jackson slowly flipped her hand until her palm faced them. Using his thumb, he stroked the upper part of her palm. "These little bumps here… had you carried something heavy?"

Fil bit her bottom lips as she gazed at her palm. "It's from a golf club."

"A golf club?"

"Mhm." Fil looked up at him, meeting his beautiful pair of topaz that were mirroring hers. "I was testing a tire's durability with it. I didn't realize I overdid it."

Jackson and Fil stared at each other in silence. Her hand was still in his grip, and the rising tension slowly hung in the air.

"Want to do it here?" he asked after a prolonged silence, wrapping his other arm around her waist and pulling her closer. "Or do you want the private lounge where I came from?"

He tipped his head to the side, giving her the option to choose. He was fine with either. He would fuck her either way.

"Here?" Fil clasped his chest as she drew her upper body back. She looked from left and right, frowning at the thought of doing this deed in this hallway.

Seeing her sour reaction, the man chuckled. "The private lounge then."

"Are you a cheapskate?" she blurted out, biting her tongue as she peeked at him. "Or maybe just a jerk?"

Jackson tilted his head to the side, doing slow and continuous blinks. "I'm a jerk, yes, but never a cheapskate."

"Hehe. I didn't mean it like that, sorry." Fil laughed nervously while tapping his chest mildly. "I'm just saying if we do it here, people can just come and see us. That'll be awkward. And I don't think the private longue is a comfortable place for the first time."

"If they see us, what about it? They should just look away if they can't handle seeing people having sex," he returned, rendering her speechless. "Anyway, you were right. So? Where do you want to do it? On the roof?"

'I hope he was joking.'

"Let's get out of here first," she said.

"And where are you taking me?"

Fil didn't answer immediately. The corner of her lips curled up into a smile and her eyes gleamed with mischief, making Jackson arch a brow.

"In my boyfriend's house."
