Knock Knock

Kim Rock frowned at the sound of a knock on the door. Whoever was outside, couldn't they see the [DO NOT DISTURB] sign hung outside her room? 

"They better have a good reason for disturbing me," she grumbled as she went for the door, opening it without checking who it was. As soon as she laid her eyes on the person outside, her irritation was immediately replaced with surprise. 

"Fil?" she called. "You came back?"

Fil pursed her lips and smiled. "I left my luggage, and I didn't say goodbye properly."

"Oh." Kim let out a shallow chuckle. "That's okay. You didn't have to bother."

"And I also want to thank you for looking after me and also, last night," Fil added with a wide smile. "It meant a lot to me. I know you're busy, but you still came as my plus-one. Thank you."
