Fil stared blankly at the ceiling, recalling Elijah's comment before her little brother fell asleep. She tried sleeping, but couldn't. Aside from the growing fear of another nightmare, her mind just kept repeating her little brother's remarks. 

"What does he know?" she murmured, rolling to her side until she could see Elijah on the floor. "You're so young. Don't tell me you're dating already?"

Fil blew the stray hairs from her face, sighing and shaking her head mildly. 

'It's not like that's the issue here,' she thought, laying on her back once more. 'The Heaven and Earth part isn't either.'
